Nadal was at his absolute peak on his best surface. And his serve is complicated to return for a one hander. It's a no-brainer.
Definitely complicated, but if someone served at a player todays backhand 17 times and won 17 points, none of you people would be so understanding. You would all be laughing your butts off at them, and rightfully so.

I'm in total disbelief. Who saw this coming after that Musetti match? I didn’t see Novak turning back the clock like this. Stunned.

Damn. That’s stunning stuff. Sinner seemed too passive – played the match all wrong, but that’s on him. Djokovic pulled out some incredible stuff here and there to steal the win. A little sad we won’t get Alcaraz-Sinner but at least Zverev isn’t in the final lol.

If that someone won 14 slams on that surface? Probably not.

Congrats to Djoker for clutching out the win. This reminds me a bit of the 2019 Wimbledon final. The guy never lost belief. But more importantly, he won most of the key points.

This is what the guy does. He’s made a career of it. This one is the most shocking. At 38 2/3 years old, he knocked out the 2-time defending champ. He saved 10 consecutive break point opportunities by his opponent

Well... he's done it. Now there must be zero doubt whatsoever that this era is a joke...

The field is so bereft of skillful tennis players with a set of balls.

24 yr old peak player gets outdone by a 39 yr old in a 4+ hour match

Btw, I'm not trying to take anything away from Novak here... he was unreal tonight

Sinner beat 2024 Novak AT Ao when he was coming off a 3 slam season and hasn’t lost a single match against him after hitting his prime meanwhile Novak beat Carlos last year and many times. I’ll demand respect from you on Sunday when Sinner lifts the trophy by beating Z in final.

Welp…..

Dude I don't think I can root against Djokovic in the final after what he just did.

This is a middle finger to the bookies who put Sinner and 1,07. Learn your lesson. This isn't some ATG wannabe like Sinner, it's Novak freaking Djokovic.

Those were totally reasonable odds, but luckily I made some cash on Novak midway through the 5th here

These stats sound familiar.

Especially when Musetti was DESTROYING Novak.
Sinner gave a PATHETIC MUG type performance today.

Those are actually crazy numbers. Encouraging for Alcaraz but all bets are off now.

Idk. If he wins Australia it will be an indictment on tbeee current players. Thwy cant hold a jock to tbe original big three.
Don't be fooled. Alcaraz and Sinner are not cut out of the same cloth as the big 3.
Alcaraz will lose the final in 3 or 4 sets.
These guys are just NOT as good. Plus MENTAL MIDGETS as well. It's pretty simple.
