Damn. That’s stunning stuff. Sinner seemed too passive – played the match all wrong, but that’s on him. Djokovic pulled out some incredible stuff here and there to steal the win. A little sad we won’t get Alcaraz-Sinner but at least Zverev isn’t in the final lol.

Raz-Djoko has produced some classics though. Djokovic's level today - if he can repeat that, he can drive Alcaraz up the wall. No-miss-tennis.

Well it shows that miracles can happen.

I suspect Novak will be too exhausted to repeat this on Sunday against Rax who had 4 hours more rest and is 15 years younger.

However, for Novak to beat Sinner from 2-1 down in sets is utterly unbelievable at this age.

If only Zverev had beaten Carlos then i thin Novak would have won 25th GS. However, reaching the final at 38 which is something Roger or Rafa couldn't do, just cements him as greatest of Big 3.

Amazing.

That was the perfect way to cap off the big 3 story, no matter what happens in the final. I kind of want him to win the whole thing now. Kind of.

Surely up there as the most memorable victory of Djokovic’s career. It was a pleasure to witness it.

Sinner served incredibly well and will be gutted that he couldn’t find his game when he needed it. But there’s only one Novak Djokovic, and losing a heartbreaking match to him is a rite of passage for any elite player.

Instant classic!

I'm in awe of this win, I was hoping he would challenge him or that Sinner would get cramp and he'd get the win but this far beyond my expectations. Like he was in unreal form and that was not a weak Sinner, Sinner was hitting and moving incredible and he still beat him! Just amazing, absolutely amazing!

Here comes excuse Carlos messed up? Lmao!! How about Showing Fed beating a prime ATG in his prime ?? Novak did it at 37. as to your question why Sinner is struggling ? Well he has been beating Novak with ease for two years , one odd match in two years and you’re back to spreading nonsense?? lol.
100% sure you either won't post for months or come back under a different name. SHAMELESS. Hope you enjoyed today. It was a very hard lesson, now you know why the matches are played out.

And btw I'm not sure that Alcaraz will beat Djokovic on Sunday. Djokovic can easily cause another upset.

The two semis showed what I always say. Sinner and Raz are not much better than the Zverev's/Med's and other clowns of the 90s gen. They are only lucky that they are facing even more ancient versions of the Big three. If they had appeared in 2018 they would not have won considerably more until now than the 90s gen.

Outstanding performance, truly outstanding from Djokovic! Hats off

Now, what does he have left for the Final?
Probably not a lot but even reaching the final is outstanding. I suppose this is why he has kept playing as if Carlos had lost today then Novak would probably have won 25th.

He needs to play like this at Wimbledon and just pray that at least one of Sinner/RAZ gets beaten before the S/F, meaning he would only have to play one of them.

Congrats to Djoker for clutching out the win. This reminds me a bit of the 2019 Wimbledon final. The guy never lost belief. But more importantly, he won most of the key points.

This is what the guy does. He’s made a career of it. This one is the most shocking. At 38 2/3 years old, he knocked out the 2-time defending champ. He saved 10 consecutive break point opportunities by his opponent

Djokovic is the ultimate MEP

LOL. Not at all.
Did you see Nadal or Djokovic at their mental best. Even Fed. Those guys are FREAKS.
Just because Alcaraz won a bunch of 5 set matches vs a WEAK pathetic field with a 39 yr old still at the top, doesn't make him mentally strong.
Ridiculous take, outside of the Big 3 being freaks which they absolutely are, but everybody has an opinion I guess

Nole the goat. 38 yo Nole beat prime sinner 23 yo. Insane. And people say sincaraz is better than big 3? lol. Sinner can’t even beat 38 yo Nole, how would they beat prime big 3
Sinner falters at every semi-decent opponent. He beats mugs like a drum that is what he can. As soon as Raz or a fresh even 38 years old Djoko is on the other side of the net it is over. Praising him as future GOAT was ridiculous to begin with given that he is not even the best of his generation.

This is the face of someone who did something special after everyone told him that it's impossible. Probably he started to believe that too.

No way Novak at this age can repeat this in final. However, just shows that if either Raz Or sinner is injured or knocked out and he only had to play one of them, he could have nicked another slam.
Let's wait and see.

Don't think Djokovic will be playing any better than this later in the season.

Ok - let me tone down the hyperbole. Why is it ridiculous?
I'm not denying Alcaraz is heading to be a great player. But he's just 22. His 5 set record is fortituous. Just look at the players he's beaten in that list.
The ONLY NOTABLE example is Novak in 5 sets at Wimbledon. Other times he's just been pushed to 5 sets, because initially he wasn't good enough to finish matches early.
Alcaraz's wins over Sinner in 5 sets, cannot be taken seriously because the Italian isn't really mentally strong. He just did 2/19 breakpoints today.
I'm sorry - I've seen 10+ years from Sampras, Nadal, Djokovic and Federer winning day in and day out and coming back from jaws of defeat to do the unthinkable. Alcaraz isn't there yet.
