Hello all, I’ve seen this morning Head are teasing on their socials about a special prestige due end of 2026, anyone got any idea what it may be?

Head tennis in Facebook is saying "you will like what's coming end of 2026 then! In 2027 we will also launch a new Prestige inline! Stay tuned."

We have a thread about this already where they said this late last year but yes seems to be - they're probably giving the Prestige a more thorough reworking to give it one more chance in the modern market rather than just making it a "Classic"

Awesome news.

Hoping they go make the Pro a bit less noodley soft.
Curious what reboot they are going for.

I believe the initial release was in 1987, with Henri Leconte as the picture on the head sleeve. I still have one of these somewhere.

For 2027, that makes sense for a 40 year anniversary release. After using the Classic Mids up until 2019 (Prestige user for 33 years), then the 360+ MP, then the Auxetic 1.0 Pro.

I switched to the Pure Strike 98 18x20 this year to give a little extra everything in a lighter package. Will be interesting to see if the next racquet will be a low power control outdated classic model which will be the end of the line or they will create a new revamped silo using the Prestige branding.

I expect the next Prestige to be more like the Percept (which seems to be the most successful and currently relevant control frame) so probably lighter and a new mold

I think it'll be a relatively heavy, relatively low stiffness, relatively high power (for a) control frame, with nods to new aero shapes, with main emphasis on stability.
