Fery is a bit of a curious case. Actually French (born in France to French parents) and originally played for France and then switched to playing for GB (grew up and went to school here).
Given how much more successful the French are currently at turning out good players, I wonder what made him decide to stop playing for his native country and start playing for GB?

I also saw favouritism earler. After two rounds of playing under lights, he says now I want to play in open court. And voila , his match is scheduled first on centre court
For all you know it might have been Sinner.
This might work in Fery or more likely Zverev's favour, especially if Novak and Sinner ends up being marathon match.

That's precisely the reason. He gets more grant or favors from LTA then he would have got from French.. they have lot of talented players like Fils or the new kid .

Mr. Harri Heliövaara's doubles successes feel so mind-blowing because of that reason that he earlier quit his tennis pro career and ALL those doubles titles have come after his return. So congrats Heliövaara & Henry Patten!

A truly great Wimbledon men's final, with the great Sinner asserting his current dominance at the event by surgically defeating the violent offender Zverev. For this moment, all is right with men's tennis, and one can only hope he can defend for a three-peat in 2028.
To think, some were already selling themselves on the laughable notion of violent offender Zverev winning this in the wake of his fluke / asterisk-laden French Open title. Suuure!

It sure was an entertaining final. Zverev started out great but Sinner did all the things just a bit better. Return and movement was what I feel won him his 2nd title.

True. And only 6 have won RG since 2005. Nadal didn't leave that many on the table: Alcaraz x 2, Novak x 3, Fed&Waw&Zverev x 1.
In contrast, USO has been won by 10 since Fed's first win: Delpo, Cilic, Murray, Wawrinka, Medvedev + Big 3 & Sincaraz. Will we see a new champion this year? More likely, Sinner will add to his haul.
