That was weird. Especially since she missed 2 and had 0 success before. I think she mentally checked out after first set.

Muchova's win means she now has made the SF or better in singles at all the majors. Aside from her 2023 RG final appearance she has lost the other 3 SF appearances. I think it's high time Muchova wins a major, but whether she has the mettle to take out Gauff will be interesting (she's 1-6 vs Gauff but won their last match in Stuttgart).
