Exactly. 5 years of 17. Just seems so surreal to know it's 19 now. I've become accustomed to 17 now. The number next to Feds name seems like the norm

Speaking of distant quaintness....and I had an occasion to hang out with the famous Jeff Tarango one evening a few weeks after RF won his fifteenth slam (Wimbledon). Tarango joked that for the rest of time, the first point of each game in tennis would be Federer, instead of fifteen. Like, Federer-love. If you're up two pts to one in a game, you're up thirty Federer. Down three break points....love-federer.

It was pretty funny to hear Jeff tell it. Then a few months later, RF won the Oz open to up his slam haul to sixteen, voiding Tarango's little moniker.
Then Seventeen. Then eighteen a yr ago in Melbn. 19 last summer in Londn. Now twenty.
Well, whatever the number.... just such a remarkable champion, and still a pretty stylish AND effective player.

At this stage, the most likely scenario would be: he gets it after Dubai, loses it during the Sunshine Double, and recovers it later during the clay season. After that, it would depends how things stand after RG.
