22-20-18 is where it will stand after Rafa wins RG and Wimbledon.

Why is nobody discussing this scenario?
:unsure:

Surely nobody believes Rafa will lose at Wimbledon to a hobbled Fed?

Well if we look at precedent it is likely to be at end of year Nadal 22 Federer 20 Djokovic 19. But we play sport to see what happens.
Nadal has a great shot at the next 3 Majors. 2 of the next 3 he has best recent record in.
However Federer could surprise everyone and it be Nadal 21 Federer 22 Djokovic 18.
We will have a better idea by around Madrid time. Miami is actually pretty significant. Djokovic is mad playing it. Hope Nadal withdraws. No reason to risk losses to Next Gen before a Major.

21-20-19. Nadal wins RG and Djokovic Wimbledon. 100% sure of the former and 90% sure of the latter, I guess there's a small window there's a fairy tale for Federer at Wimbledon, but unlikely.

I'm still pissed Wimbledon was canceled, it was incredibly unlucky for Novak. And that DQ on top of it, a year that could have easily been a 3-slams one was only one. Also, if RG was canceled as well it would have hurt him less in the slam race because Nadal would have lost one too, but he lost a chance where he won 4 of the last 6 titles and RG was played in September (!).

It feels like we are playing 2 RG in one year. This is just not right.

Is there some law in the universe that says Wimbledon can not be rescheduled? You can be sure Wimbledon would have been played if there was no insurance.

If Nadal won the channel slam it would be easily Rafa > Fed career wise 2 slams ahead with 3 different slams per surface you can't argue with that. I think he is a 2nd favourite for the title and again Novak has to be avoided although I think he has more of a chance on grass vs hard against Novak!

He's the defending finalist. Also in his last two matches he wiped the Center Court with Bull and almost beat Djokovic.

Hard to know what form they will be in come Wimbledon. If they played 1 month from now I wouldn’t bet on Fed on grass even vs Bull. I think right now he will struggle against thiem, Tsipy, Med etc on hard to be honest

21-20-20. The US Open winner will be at 21 Slams. It doesn’t matter anyway as two of them will continue to win Slams in 2022-2023.

If EuroSPORT is to be believed, Nadal succeded to beat Novak at least 7,300 times at Roland Garros 2020 last year, with Novak not winning a single point. That is how Nadal reached the incredible 7320 GS titles (7300 + 20).

I wonder if Novak will manage to reduce the gap at EuroSport at least a little this year, which has not happened yet, regardless of the AO 2021 results .

7300 = 2 (EuroSport channels) x 365 (days) x 10 (highlights per day)

a guy will be sitting on 21 slams when he will win it at his fav/most successful/pet slam (thanks to our good friend spencer gore for this confession:D)..hence it can be neither nadal at wimby nor djo at uso, by this logic it would be whether djo at ao22 or nadal at rg22 (the required condition is this guy must reach the final to fulfill it, nadal didn't reach the final this year at roland garros, that's the explanation why this didn't work for him here), hence some young gun will win this year uso (medved, titipuss, zebrev etc.)
