2hbh racquet face question

In this video http://www.fuzzyyellowballs.com/index.php?id=640896&col=376204 the racquet face is closed as it approaches the ball and then it opens up.

In this video http://www.fuzzyyellowballs.com/index.php?id=642079&col=376204 The racquet face is pretty much perpendicular to the ground throughout.

So I guess it does not matter? Thanks.

Racket face is closed on the start of the forward swing but it appears to be square, not closed, at contact.

Yep, by closed, I meant closed at the start of the forward swing. And if you're on the run and not hitting th ball out in front, I guess your face has to un-close earlier.
