3.0-4.0...tell me what setup you are using.

Age: 55

Brief description of play style: (Baseliner, serve and volleyer, etc.)
In Singles: I prefer an all-court game, going to the net as opportunity presents itself inclduing serve and volley. Reasonable forehand and try to hit deep high topspin and mix with occasional slice. One Handed-Backhand is my bread and butter in all aspects of the game and I use topspin, flat and slice as I can. I move pretty good for an old guy and have plenty of power. Play a lot by 'feel. Serve is excellent and can hit flat, kick and slice.

How long have you been playing?:
Consistantly, about 5-6 years. Off and on for about 15 years.

Current primary racquet:
Alternate between Tecnifibre T-Fight 325, Prince Diablo Mid-plus, and Prince O3 Tour Mid. All are weighted to at least 12.4 oz and 5points head light. I like a very heavy racquet as it absorbs all of the "bad" vibs. I haven't had a wrist, elbow or shoulder injury for at least 5 years (knock on wood). It does take a LOT of practice to get used to it at the net though and I usually use a lighter racquet (11+oz) for doubles.

String type:
I use gut/poly hybrids and love Tecnifibre, Kirschbaum (spiky) and Babolat Hurricane polys mixed with natural gut. All 16g.

String Tension:
Have several of each racquet so string them between 62-72 lbs. I have plenty of power even when I have to shorten my backswing so I go for as much control as possible.

How happy are you with your setup? What changes are you thinking about making?:
I am very happy with my setup but am always looking for more "feel" in a racquet so I am sure I will continue to try different heavy, flexible, control oriented racquets in the endless quest to find te perfect match.

Age: 42

Brief description of play style: Right-handed aggressive baseliner, but I like to attack the net if opponent isn't hitting deep. SW forehand, 1HBH. Good first serve - very mediocre second.

How long have you been playing?:
10 years off and on ... currently 6 months of 3-4 sessions per week.

Current primary racquet:
Babolat Aeropro Drive Cortex

Sting type:
Tecnifibre X-1 Biphase

String tension:
60

How happy are you with your setup? What changes are you thinking about making?:
Extremely happy until recent control dropoff, which I'm attributing to string tension loss (current setup has 15-20 hours on it). Getting restrung and will hopefully verify that theory soon. Might need to investigate a more flexible racquet due to wrist tenderness, but that could be technique or work related (CAD work - on computer all day), too. Will likely buy a second APD soon.

Age: 18

Brief description of play style: It's quite debatable what my style of play is.. Since my racket change, I've had a strong semi-western topspin forehand from the baseline. I don't put it away very well with shortballs. Before my racket change, I had a very strong ohbh shot, but seemed to have lost the timing with the new racket. It's more of a streaky shot. It will go in beautifully at times, but other times will sail, or go into the net. My serve is also very streaky. To be honest, it's horrible. I don't have much of a flat serve, it's more of a topspin serve, and a wimpy second serve. I'm also a semi-decent volleyer, but with the racket change, I've seemed to have lost a step in the volley department.

How long have you been playing?:
Probably on and off for about 2 years

Current primary racquet:
I originally was using a Fischer Pro Number 1 FT. But recently I purchased a
Wilson K90.

String type:
Prince Polygut
String Tension:
57lbs

How happy are you with your setup? What changes are you thinking about making?:
I'm not quite sure how happy I am. Atm, my racket feels boardy and bouncy. I feel like a change in tension might be needed. I'm also not quite sure if I should even be using a K90, but I'm slowly adapting to it. And my backhand is slowly coming back as I adjust to the K90 and it's weight compared to my
old Fischer.

Any suggestions? I truthfully regret buying the K90, but I don't exactly have any money to buy a new racket, and don't want to spend money on a new racket. I made a mistake in buying the K90, and probably should've got a K95 or the APD with cortex I was originally gonna get. I played with a n6.1 95 team and liked it and therefore chose to go with Wilson.
