Yes, Wednesday Sept. 18 is a special day. Cheddar seems very popular these days, traditionalists seem to favor American Cheese, my wife favors Mozzarella or sometimes Swiss. Check with your favorite restaurant as many are running special cheeseburger deals that day.

Is there a National Cheesecake day ?

I've never had cheesecake in my life, and its one of my dreams.

You should try the Cheesecake Factory. Just don't go there more than once. You could put on a lot of weight at that place. One of their typical meals should be enough food for the typical adult for 1-2 days.

It’s here! I’ll choose between three local joints (Red Robin probably) for a nice celebratory discount.

I've only eaten at Red Robin once - had an Impossible Burger. Fantastic meal (well one of their meals could feed you for a day or longer). Great place. But I don't often eat out.

I ate a cheeseburger sub last night. Had I known about this special day I would have held off. I typically go to this Pizza shop once a week and get either a cheeseburger sub or a pizza they call the "420 pie". BBQ sauce, tons of Mozz, hot sauce, and chili cheese fritos. Fritos make a surprisingly legit pizza topping.

But a good cheeseburger sub beats any cheesesteak.
