hello folks!

Since few weeks im stringing myself and want to ask if it's a Problem if 3 Knots are at the racket head and just 1 at the bottom.

In a Video someone mentionend if the Mains end at the top you should do it with a 2 knot technique to reduce racket deformation.

Best regards

Exactly what head says you should do. I prefer no knots on the mains at the top of the frame. If I was going to string this racket 1 piece I would tie off the short side at 9H.

It is standard to have 3 nots at one end and 1 at the other. The mains are started at the “middle” of the string so both ends of the string end at the same end of the racquet. Then the crosses are started at the “end” of the string such that you end up with a knot at either end of the racquet.

The 2 knot method that you mention is the one piece (of string) method. Don’t see to many people use it. So many people using either hybrid setups or using different tension on mains and crosses that need 2 separate strings.

Irrelevant whether you use 2 or 4 knots. If frame is mounted correctly theres no difference. If frame is not mounted correctly, it will be distorted whether using 2 or 4 knots.

Many stringers call this a natural 1 piece and will tie off the short side on a main.

Thank you for the fast response!
1 question more... In the picture i saw that I did a mistake on the last cross and forgot to weave down one time. Is it a problem or can i Deal with that because it's "only the last cross"?

It sounds like it is your racquet and if so then I would just hit with it. I am the only tennis player I know that hits a ball using that cross string.

Not an issue on your frame

No racquet deformation with a 2 piece job over a one piece job. I actually string more 2 piece string jobs than 1 piece. Many hybrid request and you only can do 2 piece. If you have any major racquet deformation then you have a different problem than a one piece over a two piece job. Many Head racquets are very flexible, and stringing the cross strings a couple lbs higher typically takes care of that. For the most part Head actually specifies 2 piece over one piece for many of their racquets.
Your racquet is what I would call a natural one piece job, so you do have options, but tie offs in manufacturer specifications nothing wrong with.
