3 Pack Bag

Hey guys,

I'm really considering to a 3 pack.

Why?

Less stuff.

I currently have a 12 pack, but it's huge. I carry four rackets, and then a whole bunch of gear. I'm considering the 3 pack because I generally only play with 2 rackets (the other 2 are backup frames I bought because my racket is out of production and I wanted to stock up).

I'm really digging this one from Babalot:

I like the color. It's sleek and simple, plus it has some nice external pockets like the molded side pocket.

I am tempted to go to this because I really don't need that much to go to the tennis court. 2 rackets could easily go in the main pocket plus a small towel and an extra shirt and my water bottle. In the side pockets I could keep my small warmup band, and maybe another pair of socks, some balls, and granola bars. The only issue I have is my shoes. I could throw those in the main compartment as well but I'm skeptical.

And that's about it folks. Keeping it simple I think is the best way to do it. If I'm going to an overnight tournament I usually end up bringing my backpack with my toiletries in it.

What do you think? Should I go for it? Sure extra space is nice in the 12 pack I have, but it's waaaayyy to bulky for my liking. I feel that with the extra space I ALWAYS find a way to stuff it with things I don't need. Do you like the idea of coming to the courts minimally?

Doesn't work for me.
I need to carry my tennis shoes, shorts, warmup pants, at least one new can of balls, 12+ older practice balls, a hat for the sun, plus 2+ rackets, and a 3pac doesn't come close, because when I change out of my Levi's, fleece shirt, and regular shoes, it takes up MORE room than the tennis clothing.

I'm generally wearing a sandle that literally folds up and could fit in my pocket. Because of this, I'm only really concerned about my tennis shoes.

I also wear my cloths to the courts that I'll be wearing with the exception of maybe an extra pair of socks and a 2nd shirt. My hat never leaves my head.

I also never carry more than a new can of balls and maybe 3-5 older ones at most.

I settled on a 6 racquet barricade bag from adidas. Got it on sale and has a lot of space and nice features like shoe pocket, insulated drink pocket, backpack straps etc. Nice intermediate size. Ken

If you want to carry tennis shoes, I think a six pack is the smallest bag that can do it. You can still carry 2 frames, but also more clothes, balls, other miscellaneous items. If you go this route, you may also prefer the backpack style strap arrangement. 3 cents.

That's why I hunt for old 3-racquet Babolat bag with separate shoe compartments, and 2 external pockets for storage and still hold 2 racquets on one side, and everything else on the other. Once in a while, they come up on the bay cheap.
