I don't think the baby's the catalyst as he was playing horribly when he came back. What seems to have lit a spark under him was the comeback win against Baez at RG.

It was the saddest atmosphere I think I’ve ever witnessed. Should’ve been a bagel in the 2nd set as well. The image that comes to mind is a cute little deer being eaten by a wolf.

In no way am I arguing that he is better then Djokovic. I just think Monfils is more fun to watch. Djokovic is one of the best players ever but I find his matches annoying.

I feel that Djokovic’s talent and excellence is so undeniable as to still carry a high level of entertainment value, but by the same token I agree, Monfils is a much more engaging player

I love Monfils, if there is ever a tennis player I would want to hangout with outside of tennis, it would be him.

It's great to see him win these matches, the win against ADM was extra sweet, but if the seeds hold, he's going to be facing his daddy in the next round.
