39 masters title

Absolutely incredible. He is the king of Master's 1000's, Grand Slams and also weeks at #1. I hope he becomes the king of the ATP Finals with a 7th win.

Can't wait for Masters title #40 and a 3rd Monte Carlo title to get the Career triple Masters.

The Undisputed GOAT and Heavyweight champion of the world.

The way Djokovic took this finals - it looked like the finals of a slam.

He may say - it’s all about slams. But Djokovic will try to win every tournament he enters. Def #40 masters will happen I feel in next one year

And the tradition of winning at least one masters title in a season keeps going...the last season, he didn't win any was 2017 and we all know what year that was for Novak...funny...it's another streak of 6 seasons in a row from 2018 till 2013, just like from 2011 till 2016...mm...ironically same exact situation with grand slams! Haha

I want that third MC title.

I want that third triple career masters.

I want it all. ;)
He can do it, if he can somehow remember how to play on slow MC clay again. The last few outings there though....all I can say is "lol". I expect him to all of a sudden play better there next year though.

Yep, I think next year he might just turn the screws and really try to peak for it.

Triple career Slam and a triple career Masters would be bonkers. No way would that record be duplicated...ever.
Of course, because it is very unlikely that tennis will ever be in such a weak era, where old players can dramatically inflate their stats, after not holding any real records during their primes.

I think it was because of alcaraz. Alcaraz is extending his career. The hunger is still there in Djokovic because he loves the new epic rivalry with him.

The way Djokovic bounced back after that tough Wimbledon loss to beat Alcaraz in an epic final in Cincy is nothing short of legendary.
It really is. Great win for Djokovic. He clearly was carrying some demons from that Wimbledon final after seeing him miss so many chances and it's good he played him soon after that before the doubts fester. This will help him in the USO if they play.

And let's not forget every win he manages to "steal" from Alcaraz adds to his already incredible career but also postpones Alcaraz's inevitable march towards dominance just a little bit more. It might not be enough to stop him from ultimately becoming the greatest ever, but it certainly contributes to maintaining that gap.

Very close now.

The would mean he would have won every annual big tournament at least 3 times.

But at this point Monte-Carlo for Novak is like climbing Mt.Everest! LOL It's easier to imagine him winning more US Opens and RGs than even just one more MC title! Honestly though i would be happy if he won just ANY of the masters at this point to make it nice and round 40, i don't care which it'll be! And maybe 2 more slams and 1 more ATP finals title, ideally cursed olympic gold as well next year, but even if not - whatever...

Yea he hates real slow clay now that he's less of a grinder and more aggressive, and dependent on his serve.
