Wanted to share in case anyone else was inspired by the thought of extending racquet lengths via 3D printing (now that it's a little more economical).
Used one of my abnormal K-Blade 98 (+7-8 grams). It's been previously heat sleeved to an L3. Measured unstrung/no grip using the Briffidi suite.
Before/After
Static Weight: 302g -> 304g
Swingweight: 305 -> 327
Balance: 3HL -> 1HH
Dumb me underestimated 3D printing tolerance stack, so everything is a press fit. I physically can't take it apart unless i destroy the part it seems.
Good news after designing this, if I wanted to revert back to a standard length, I can model and print a shorter version and keep it the same length.
Bad news is, I have no idea how long it will last given this is a 20% infill (ie: not totally solid).
Maybe will post back with durability test later? Or does someone else have experience here?
