3E wide, what should I use???

Hello everyone,

I'm in need of some advice. I recently purchased the Asics Gel Resolution 9 in EU size 44 due to the good reviews it got,but unfortunately, they are way too narrow for my 3E feet.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a tennis shoe that would be suitable for my wide feet. I've been looking online, but I'm overwhelmed by the number of options available, and I'm not sure which one to choose.

I'm looking for a shoe that is comfortable and provides good support. I also prefer a shoe that has a wide toe box to accommodate my wider feet. And preferably something that won’t trigger my tailors bunion.

I’ll attach the results from a scan I did on my feet it it helps.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

The standard D width New Balance Lav V2s are pretty wide, so maybe the EE wide Lav V2s would suit you better than the Gel Res 9's. I only can speak to the Gel Res 8s, but even in the 2E width they were still narrow in the toe box for me. I've had previous achilles injuries in the past, incidentally occurred while wearing FF2s, but for my anatomy, the Lav V2s have been cushioned, responsive, supportive and have no complaints other than a lack of breathability

The Babolat SFX3 is roomy all around. I'm a 2E and it felt so roomy I ended up going down a .5 size. It may work for you to go true to size.
All right! Thanks I’ll add those to the shopping cart with the Lav v2.
I’m aiming toward trying at least 5-6 shoes.

Unfortunately there’s no real tennis shop where I’m located so I got to order them online.
And shoes may be the worst thing to order online

New balance is always my go-to for wide shoes. Granted, I don't have as many options as some due to the length restrictions as well, so I've never been able to try some shoes like the babolat ones mentioned.

But not only does new balance tend to run a little wider than some other brands, they also offer extra wide sizes.

Just to narrow it down a bit, can you be specific regarding the model.
Of course my number one prio when getting a shoe is the width because of the tailors bunion flaring up.
But I also want a shoe that offers good stability and maneuverability.

Basically I want a Gel Resolution 9ish that works for my wide feet

Edit: Once again I’m really thankful for the inputs

I have the original Fresh Foam Lav right now. I have also used a couple versions of the 996, but not the newest one. I don't think you can go wrong with either one. I'm not really sure which versions are out right now, cause I don't play as often or as intense as I used to, plus I got a free pair of the Lavs back when I worked at a pro shop and I wasn't even in need of a new pair, so I haven't looked in a while.

I have really wide feet. I got the Lav v2 and initially I wore them with thick socks and they didn't fit. Then I wore them with thinner, Nike everyday cushion socks and they fit great. They are the most comfortable shoes and they have great stability and responsiveness.
