I'm in Pasadena this weekend visit a friend. My old SF tennis friend is out of town. Would be nice to hit in SoCal weather. Let me know if someone 4.0+ wants to hit not too far from Pasadena/Glendale.

you want to come out to Elder Park in Monterey Park on Saturday morning to hit with @MaxTennis and me? There are lots of nice folks out there playing dubs.

Or I could possibly meet for a hit at the Arcadia tennis center on Sunday afternoon. I’m TT 2.5 rated. ;)

Hello,
Mid to late this week. Final destination is Palm Springs. I'll be in the area for a couple weeks, and will probably stop in San Diego to play at Balboa Park.
Cheers,
BH
Depends on when you are available to hit then. I’m typically free on the weekends and can meet up after work to hit in Burbank. Or maybe you’d like to drop by Elder Park in Monterey Park this Saturday? MaxTennis will probably be there, too. I’m a half decent player. Strong 4.0

Near Chico now, and I think there might be pick up there. I'll decide tonight whether to head there or Bay Area. I've always wanted to play at legendary Golden Gate Park, but not sure I want to navigate the city for such a short visit, and have all my personal belongings stolen from the car while I'm playing.

If you don't mind a slight detour off the I-5 to the 101 which will take you down to SoCal just as well - you can swing by San Luis Obispo and we can hit and you can also visit the TW store!

Let me know.

Will his personal belongings be safe while you guys are playing tennis? :)

Legendary GGP has nothing on the TTW famous San Pablo park SPP.
If you want to visit the East bay for a hit during the day you might catch a glimpse of the real legend @LeeD !

Pass on GGP. SKETCH parking with lots of characters skulking around.
Pass on me, low 4.0 who has played 6 times this year.
Papa maybe, a real 4.5.....but he's back to work, so little tennis.

Re: Golden Gate Park Tennis Courts. Renovation underway. Not expected to reopen for a year.

Thanks for all the replies. It was a long trip and I had a lot of stuff with me, and in the end I didn't feel like navigating big cities, so I headed east sooner than expected, saw some good scenery, and now I'm in Palm Springs. Hope to connect sometime in the future. Thanks again.

Hey! You shoud hit up this sandwich place...sandwichspotps.com. great sandwiches and most importantly the guy that runs the place is a big Federer fan and a bunch of the sandwiches on menu are named after players!
