5.0 vs Former Futures Player (Former 12.6 UTR)

Getting to the net is always a challenge. You have to step in and commit yourself forward rather than waiting for the perfect opportunity. Your net play was the best part of your game and you won many points there.

Who cares? You've never seen a middle aged man with a Federer racquet and a Nike bandana who only plays with others like him and no organized competition hack at the ball with home made strokes?

J
therefore, he has lesser rights to play tennis than you do, with your certified and validated cookie cutter lessons, and smug validational attitude?

maybe they should require a membership card with priority rankings to determine who getts more rights at a public court.

thank goodness those kind of people are not in congress!

I only meant disqualified to talk about your level. But sure, here’s my whole thread.

instead of posting a video I invite any of those two players to hit with me when they are around in the Miami area. I am a 63 yo player, I used to play many years ago 4.5 but clearly I can keep up with either player

I care, people need to show the world how good they are. Even if they are a middle aged man with a Federer racquet and a Nike bandana who only plays with others like him and no organized competition hack at the ball with home made strokes.

The elephant in the room here, is that this question was never addressed.
Reminds me of the poster "rino" who actually went out and dug up footage on YouTube of some futures player in Sweden or someplace and claimed it was him.
That.....is amazing. And, is there such a thing as 6.0? I know some guys from the Baylor national championship team years ago, they are 5.5 or compete in 5.0 plus and open.

your ship is filled with holes and sinking fast.
its too late to start bailing.

That's still not an answer to the question asked of you.
He asked if that was YOU in that video, just answer the man!
would you believe it if i said this is me?
of course not, because of various reasons.
1)it would debase you and your level
2)youve already made up your minds that it isnt my vid.
3) im not very good to your playing standards, because im asian, therefore not a valid subject.

but just to appease your bigotry, this is me, so go ahead and believe whatever u want.

Can't be, that's 7.0!

You've read the thread right? Seems unlikely given the above comment, else you would have understood the people calling him out were not part of the OP video, and weren't being criticised, so that's a non sequitur.

don't care much for what they say, I care for what I've seen. The players of the video don't impressed like a 5.0 vs Former Futures Player (Former 12.6 UTR)

There are a lot of Asians on this forum. Weren’t you the one who was actually questioning the level of the players in the video? No need to disparage other players if you are better than them.

Asking a question doesn’t make someone a bigot, besides, I wasn’t the one asking. If anyone is judgmental it’s actually you.

i wasnt questioning, they asked for opinion
so i gave it. if i violated anything then i apologize

Guy in video is 6.12 UTR, approx 4.0 USTA.

Well, for starters you did comment, so there's that. I'm assuming you did eventually watch OP at the near end before your additional comment where you rate them at 3.5/4.0? I'm interested because we don't use NTPR where I live, so whats a 12.6 UTR in NTPR these days? Apparently the answer is 4.5.

I wonder how you would rate these two (even though that isn't a trick question and the answer is obvious):

Next time maybe try your phone, assuming it does Full HD? All in all, very nice footage, and keep up the good work!
4.0 and 3.0, depending on the location.

Youtube recommended me another video of you playing another ex-pro (
)

What's his name? Just curious.

Nvm I just saw your new thread

Hi all, I got to play a 5.0 league match yesterday against a former futures player. Sadly my camera died part way through the second set. I ended up losing 1-6 3-6, but there were some great points. I've trained with him a few times prior to this so that helped me know what to expect. Being on court with him is awesome because I always find things to learn about my game. My main takeaway is that I was very successful at net and even against a player of his caliber I will be successful there. The issue is finding ways to get to the net when he hits such a consistent and deep ball. Any advice and comments are appreciated!

I'm in the gray shirt, red hat, maroon shorts and I start on the far side.

I liked your long point at 1 min mark and the fact that he bailed out of it :)
