I assume you're being facetious, but obviously this was the final score of the 2004 USO final, when Federer beat Hewitt at the height of the strong era

I actually do this quite often: I look at Best of 5 results and try to remember another match from the past with exactly the same result.

As you mention the symmetry, I remember a reverse match: Becker d Chang 7-6 6-0 7-6 in the 1995 WTF final.

Nobody gives up on a match like Paire does. When I saw the score line at 4-0 in the third I just had to flip it on in my office to see if he would even finish it out. He even tried to pack up at 5-0, not realising that he had another game to play. He stopped moving his feet in that last game. It’s really something else. Most players would take an injury and retire, but he just had to make a show of not trying.
