Hello, I am a 15 year old player and I just switched from 6.1 95 inch Wilson to pro staff 97s because of lack of stock. Was that a good choice? Is there anything I can do to make it similar to 6.1 95inch?
Haven't tried a 6.1 95, but in general, when you switch to a new racquet, you need to find out what makes it work better or worse than the old racquet and then make the necessary adjustments.
Other people liked and switched to it, but you'd need to evaluate if it helps or hurts you. The regular PS97 and the RF97 are roughly under and over the 6.1 16x18 in most respects, but as far as the 18x20 wilson isn't putting out much in the states other than the blade. In Europe Wilson is currently selling a 18x20 Pro Staff Classic, which was the first 6.1 model. It is supposed to come to the states sometime.
I love the 97s, but it needs a lot of tail weight to be useful. I personally cannot use even balance frames. I've added around 15 grams to the handle and made it around 6 to 7 points HL.

This. I play PSC 6.1 95s and had a 97S for a bit. I had to load up the handle as well. Once I got it where it needed to be it swung great, though not exactly like the 6.1.
I used to play with the 6.1 95 16x18 and I think the PS 97S is a good racquet to switch to. After you add weight to the handle to get it to a similar balance I think it plays very well and is an easy transition.

Adding some weight (try 10g) to handle will get it closer to the 6.1 95. The 97S is my favourite racquet. However you can also try the Pro Staff 97. It's a nice and easy to play with racquet - it's always in my bag too.
