romeo probably had a ton of money on Stan. The anger from his failed bets is projected towards the player who beat the guy who cost him money >_>

How can a fan of Roger Federer hate Tsonga? Serious question. Maybe you're right, it's da moneyz.

I don't know if fans of Roger are more likely to be a fan of Tsonga. I'm more of a fan of Nadal than Rodge, even though I enjoy watching them both.

Tsonga's playing style is obviously closer to that of Fed's, while his demeanor is very different to Rodge's.

Have you watched the guy play? He plays the worst shots at the most crucial moments in matches. One day he's great the next day he's half asleep on the court.

You HATE him because he isn't always the best decision maker? What about his all-court game and his shot-making?

I just love Tsonga.

Tsonga - Wawrinka is one of my favorite matches

...not necessarily a fan but it's odd to me how one could outright adore one and outright detest the other.

Nadal is actually my 2nd favorite player. I despise players like Tsonga who are good one match and crap the next, especially when they have all the ability to be great.

So basically whoever is 'great' you love. OK champ, fair play.

Or do you hate Nole for some of the hurt he's put on Ralph and Roj.

Tsonga is a little bit hold and cold, but that's what makes him interesting for me anyway. I like the fact that you never really know what to expect from him, even though that obviously can be frustrating at times. For me it's not all about him winning; I like to see when he gets passed easily cause he had the audacity (recklessness) to serve and volley on his 2nd serve. I like to see him pull out his one-hander in unforeseeable moments. I like to see him play aggressive on vital points, even though the 'smart' thing to do is to do the opposite.

That's who he is and I don't really want him to change.

As usual, Tsonga didn't win the match Wawrinka lost it. Wins the first set 6-2 and then just mentally collapses.

Well, he didn't mentally collapse against Murray. So why was Tsonga so different?

Well done, Jo-Willy. He showed Andy how it should be done!

Tsonga was really good...

Key reason he was able to win was that he was confident, or rash (?), enough to take risks and come in to attack every short ball Wawrinka through up. He even came in on most slices if they looked to be too high and volleyed* a few...

This put extreme pressure on wawrinka to aim for the lines and added mental stress to any balls that weren't deep.

Tsonga also wasn't afraid to use the big forehand cross court to add pressure to the baseline rallies.

Basically he did all of the things Murray should have done, but didn't (couldn't).

I loved Wawrinka saving triple match points being down 0-40 on his serve; Displayed mental toughness.

* Tsonga is athletic enough to be able to do this.
