people have gotten replacements just by wearing out the outsole so that it reveals the midsole. however, for me, i've only had nike shoes and i've worn them down to the uppers just so i would be sure i would get cleared...

When mine wear, could I just bring mine into my local tennis shop and swap them out for a new pair? Instead of shipping them to adidas and waiting on them to be shipped back?

I've worn down a pair of Nike BF2's to the point the bottoms were smooth and a different color was showing instead of the white. That seemed to pass the test even though on the Nike warranty card they say that doesn't meet the requirements of being worn out.

Nope, the warranty is offered directly by Adidas and not by the tennis shop. Thus, you have to send them back to Adidas directly for replacement.

yeah...only one of them has to be worn.

Mine were just worn down to the point at which the sole was smooth, and the shop took them and got them replaced for me. And I live in the UK, where the 6month guarantee doesn't exist!

ive got a pair of BF2's and have popped the air packet on them but have not exposed the uppers. is this enough to qualify for the warranty?

I have until mid september to wear out my B IV's. don't know if i should go ahead and try and wear them out manually. I'd feel bad about that but I want a new pair gosh darn it :)
