6 racquets...YOUR feedback needed

Well, it's that time again...the time when I feel I need to make a trip towards a new racquet to replace my old faithful POG mid. Along this journey (that I typically take 2 or 3 times a year), I feel I must test the waters just to make sure some racquet hasn't magically appeared that has the ability to remove the POG mid from my racquet bag.

I plan on demoing 4 racquets, of which two spots are already reserved for the Prince Diablo Mid and the Prince Diablo Midplus. Of all the racquets I've tried over the past 5 years (and I've tried almost all racquets over 11 ounces), these two have been the best I've found.

As always, I'm looking for something as solid as the POG mid, something with close to the same spin potential, has a little more power (for my serve and flat forehand), a little more pop at net, and may just be a fraction of an ounce lighter (although the Diablo mid that I like so well is actually a little heavier, as are some of the racquets listed below - so weight isn't as big of deal now).

From the following list of 6, I must find two to complete the Demoquad. If you will, please give me any opinions/comments/comparisons/reviews/experiences you can on any of the racquets mentioned below:

1) Fischer Pro Extreme FT

2) Fischer Pro Number 1

3) Prince Tour NXG Midplus

4) Volkl 10 V-Engine Midplus

5) Wilson nSix-One 95

6) Yonex RDX500

Thanks again for all the help and opinions you can send my way. I've tried to include everything in this post so that I will not bombard you with a tousand posts asking the same thing.

PS: On a side note, typically when I think about demoing some racquets, I play incredible with the POG mid, today my play was horrible with it (so maybe......this might be the time to change) :D

If you want to replace your pog mid, you may want to check out the Prince Diablo mid and midplus.

Good luck

Good luck with your journey. I am trying not to go too far nowadays. My current sticks are PS6.0 95, my faithful Ti Radical OS, Prince Vortex, Prince Original Graphite OS, Wilson Hammer6.2 original OS, Wilson Surge5.1 and a couple of more. I realized it's like an endless quest(at least for me) so forced myself to slow down and am trying to improve myself. I admire your passion though. Cheers,

Tenny :D

The Fischer Pro Number 1 is an excellent racket. Serves are great, volleys are solid, and so are the groundstokes. It can be a little stiff at times, and you have to really hit hard to generate heat, but the control you get is second to none. Topspin is easily generated. I've had mine for a while and have been pretty happy with it. I do wanna try the old twin tube radicals as well.

1. Fischer Pro Number 1 Demo
2. Volkl 10 V-Engine Midplus Demo
3. Wilson nSix-One 95 Close, but no
4. Yonex RDX500 Um, no
5. Fischer Pro Extreme FT No way
6. Prince Tour NXG Midplus No way

RDX500 is the most stable racquet found up till now. Power is great and controllable.

Funny...I expected to love the RDX500 mid+, but didn't at all. I've been demoing the RDX500 mid, and got the RDX500 Mid+ today to try out. Found the mid+ to be pingy and vibration prone, nothing like the mid which is solid as a rock and very stable. Just my experience, but I was surprised and disappointed by the mid+.

The Prince Tour NXG was very solid/stable for me, and had good power/control balance (tho a bit more power than I am comfortable with).

It's a toss up between the Pro 1, nSix-One 95 and Volkl T10 MP VE. The Pro 1 will give you great control and the n95 and t10 will give good pop. I'd try to split up the demos to include 5, not 4 sticks.
