Hello! I have a question. If people nowadays want more powerful rackets, but then same strings they usually use make the new powerful racket too powerful so they need to switch string to reduce the power. Isn't that a zero-sum game? Then you are back where you started power wise?

Yesterday I pickep up again my C10 Pro stringed with Mojo at 22/23 (thus natgut mains). Now that I'm 10kg ligher and no more constantly late... Well, it has been cathartic. I can hit sooo consistently with full power. It has been a dream. The dream of being back in my prime time.

And yes, with a relatively low powered 20mm stick (RA 62-63 I guess) but with a relatively high power string setup. Just the opposite of the actual trend.

I am looking for string for ezone 98 v8. How do you like the following strings in the frame in terms of playability and tension maintenance? My tension preference is around 46lbs.

Tour M8 1.25
Confidential 1.20
Lynx Tour Champagne 1.2/1.25

I've foud that Confidential 1.20 compliments the frame nicely, although I strung it at 50/48. Tourbite Soft is also a great option.

Or
1.25 Head Lynx Tour at 50/48

Should I just use one of these strings and tension in my new ezone 98 or does anyone have any other suggestions. Looking to move away from playing a big topspin game and drive through the court more.

I wouldn't use hyper g cause it will make the whole setup too mushy. Confidential is an good Option in this frame.

I got used to Mach 10 at 51. I think the Ezone is pretty muted anyway, so it's good to have more crisp feeling strings. I have had elbow issue so I am always worried about going too stiff.

Yeah that’s why I’m worried with confidential maybe I’ll try lynx tour at 50/48? I know it’s pretty crisp

On my Ezone 98 2022, I liked Mach-10 16L @ 50lbs. I would not got lower than that as it becomes too powerful. I also have a leather grip on it and with Mach-10, I can get some great penetrating slices. I also tried 52 lbs and that is far more controlled.
