A brand new KPS 88 & A Brand New Pro staff St. Vincent

Yeah, I agree. To me, the winning combo was a heavy racquet 12+ oz with a headlight balance. The original 85 modern china was 11.9 pts headlight compare that to a heavier 12.9 oz racquet that's just 6 pts headlight. Don't understand why they don't offer both for those who prefer that perfect combination. That's why the 85 was heavy, but didn't feel heavy. It actually felt very light even though it was weighted 12+

My wrist really feels it when i swing w/ a racquet that's weighted heavy and is head heavy. And i'm used to playing with old school racquets. The static weight just kills it for me. Please bring back the 85. The specs were so good. I've let friends hit with the 85 and upon first handling of the racquet, most were surprised that it was 12oz considering how light it felt. That's due to the friendly balance.

Why in the world would you balance a 12.9oz racquet at only 6pts HL - especially when every other iteration of your midsize showpiece has been lighter and more head light?

Where did you get the modified kps88?
Thanks

if you go back to read the first few threads, you would see how I modified it.. I put in a FULL Fairway replacement grip to make it head light a little bit.. I replaced the butt cape from my Kblade 93 (black butt cap with trap door) for the white butt cap..

I then add a long strip of lead spanning 4 strings from the middle of PWS .. then another strip right above the grip handle to counter balance it.. It's my weapon of choice ever since.. GREAT RACQUET

leonidas,

Do you know how much your k88 unstrung with the plastic paper/Adv paper weight. Because, the store send me the k88 that weights 369 gr unstrung with the plastic paper/adv paper around ( Diff of 20 gr with the platic/adv paper that can not be right)
