Yeah I saw it and it was a really good race. I wouldn't say its better than formula one, but it is still young. I like how small countries with no racing background can compete.
However hard they try, they can never beat the prestige of formula one> (btw, my hair is going to look like fernando alonso's (NO I AM NOT A GLORY SUPPORTER I HAVE LIKED HIM SINCE 2003))
F1 has a uniqueness that is unmatched in any other racing series,
Some good
1. Highly skilled drivers, e.g. M Schumacher
2. Worldwide series coverage
and
Some bad
1. Max Mosley
2. Stupid rules like one set of tires for qualifying and the race, the same engine for two consecutive races, grooved tires.
In spite of the colassal fiasco at Indy this year F1 will be back in 2006. A good indication of how desirable it is even when the majority of the U.S. racing public would rather watch Dale Jr. and Tony Stewart banging into each other on a 1 mile oval track.
