Okay, so for some reason iTunes won't let me burn any songs to a CD. I'm doing everything right. Using CD-R discs, all settings are correct, using a playlist not trying to burn from library.

You see, whenever I click burn to disc, it says at the top, "Disc Burner or Software not found..."!!!! ARGH! I have the correct software, correct drive and everything! It's not like this is the first time i've burned a disc with this before. This has been happening for the past couple of weeks. IT'S KILLING ME!!! >.<

Any suggestions on how I can fix this? HELP!!!! =O

How do I know if I have the rewriter selected? And I haven't updated iTunes for a couple weeks now. Do you think it's that?

Okay, I just updated iTunes and tried it. Nothing. Same thing!!!! ARGH!!! Do you have to restart your computer after updating iTunes? I remember it asking me to do that for previous times I've updated. KJFKLASJFDKAJFDLKJDLKAJ >.<

Seems like a lot of real helpful answers here:rolleyes:

A couple of things...

Try running Apple's CD Diagnostic, although I doubt anything will be wrong since you said you burnt in iTunes before.

Try making sure your user account for Windows is an Administrator, I've been asked this question a couple times before and that solved the problem some of the time. Other times it is because Nero and iTunes don't like each other.

You wouldn't happen to have Daemon Tools (it's a program).

This is actually a common problem, but there isn't one solution:|

Okay, some something is definately wrong with iTunes. I just burned a CD using realplayer and it worked perfectly. The thing is though, it only could burn mp3 files, not m4p ones like AAC and sh*t. But iTunes can do that. So I could only burn some of the songs that I downloaded off of a torrent or something, so nothing is wrong with my drive.

Oh and I noticed that whenever I put it a blank CD and iTunes is up, the CD doesn't come up under devices. iTunes does recognize that there is a blank CD in the drive and tells me so, but the CD itself doesn't come up under Devices, nor does Devices even come up!

ARGH!!!

i know that itunes wont let you burn a song more than a certain number of times. it could be the problem but sounds unlikely. ive never had this problem with itunes.

are you using a PC or a MAC?
