Gonna go with Monfils, although Nalbandian is always a dark horse contender I don't see him winning, Monfils for the win.

is this tacos "presentoir"... in clay ?

i'm wondering if playing in this tournament will reduce monfils' chances to be selected for the davis cup tie between france and czech republic (it would be his first davis cup selection... and in the past he already complained not to have been selected).
if he plays davis cup, it will be a mix of surfaces and continents for him in a short period of time !
(indoor-hard/europe, outdoor-clay/america, indoor-carpet/europe, outdoor-hard/america)
or maybe this time he doesn't wanna play ?
although being only frenchie #3 in the rankings this week, i think tsonga is a lock for the singles... but then who would be the other single player ? (gasquet, monfils, chardy, llodra, simon ?)

anyway, as it's not such a big field for a "500", there are some precious points to gain... ;)

Nalbo for an "in zone" tournament and a free masterclass for everybody. :) Or Nalbo for a sluggish tournament and aspirins for all his fans :(

If you are (I am) David's fan you have to be ready with/for everything; aspirins, champagne, vino tinto, beer, etc

As the year progresses i'm finding out that almagro had an excellent beginning in 2008. unfortunately, he was unable to defend his title in brazil. i wonder whether he'll be more successful in defending his Acapulco title?

Any streams?

thank you

not yet. so far i've been checking the livescore.
supposedly tennistv.com wil show some matches later in the week, but last week they did the same thing in memphis and my area was blocked out ... so much for that, thanks for nothing.

i'm gonna guess they'll do the same thing in acapulco that they did in memphis, namely start showing matches on the free onlines at the same time they start showing on tennistv.com, but that remains to be seen.

maybe oscar knows?

news excellente!!! :D

now tell me about this nickname "belluga"
naturally, it makes me think of .......

Hahahaha ... It's just a joke with his name (I think call him "Bellucci"is just too serious, conventional'and also it sounds like "Guga", so I guess it's a more cheerful nickname). I've called him once during a Challenger match here in São Paulo and many laughed. Don't know if everyone would call him that way when he become more famous (we've already had "Fininho" for Meligeni - which means very thin -, "Guga" for Gustavo Kuerten, "Jaiminho" for Jaime Oncins - meaning "Little Jaime" despite his 6ft4 height - and so on ...).
