Come on Djoko fans don't pretend you're not even a little bitter about it.
Bitter in what sense? We are disappointed but thats it, there is reason no one won 4in a row for 50 year and 5 or 6 in a row about 70. He bound to loose in some slam , at least he won RG , completing career slam and becoming first player to hold 4 slam in row in 50 years

As a tennis fan no bitterness at all. Still great matches coming up. Huge. Also most djokovic fans on ttw do not think like fed fans. Much less negative emotions.

I always find it hilarious when certain posters/fan bases INSIST that another fan base MUST be devastated after the result of a certain match, otherwise they must be lying or something. Please. Is it because you want to gloat and take satisfaction over some others' disappointment or sadness? Hey...whatever gets your jollies off.

As a Novak fan, the loss didn't sting that much at all. Why? Because I am rather content that he took the loss here than at RG, for example. Would I have preferred for him to keep on winning? Of course.

I think you just answered your own question mate. ;)

We Nole fans do not think like you do. We are not bitter or really ever cared about him passing Roger's streaks. We only cared about the Slams and RG. However, Novak has quite a streak of his own. From November 2014 to June 2016, he has dominated like no one ever has so I think plenty of us are happy with that.

Not trolling at all.
Why would be bitter. If you follow tennis you know this stuff happens.Especially after winning FO which was his bigest goal for the last 5 years. And just the fact that he came where he came from and how much he overcame odds I am fine if he retires today. There is certainly sadness when he loose but bitterness no.I was bitter when he lost semis against Nadal in FO,Murry in Wimbledon final, couple Fed matches pre 2011 but now everything is plus.I would like him to win couple more but if he doesn't I am perfectly happy with how his carrier played out

Wow, very strange response. The better question is why wouldn't you be bitter? Your hero lost out on passing some really cool streaks and if Fed wins this slam it could be a 2 slam differential from this one event. Lots of reasons to be bitter. At some point you just have to be honest about your true feelings and not sugarcoat it.

So you know now how I feel.I said 3 years ago that I would be completely fine of Djokovic wins 10 GS and has carrier slam.He now has 12.I don't think he can get to Fed cause age is gonna hurt his game way more than it did Federer's.So now is the question if you are not trolling what gives you right to claim that you know how anyone feels. You think you know me cause you red 2 sentences with my opinion about tennis. That just weird dude

Wow hypocrisy much? You just admitted you were bitter before when Djokovic lost in the past. So what makes you think some other Djoko fan is not bitter now? Are you telling them how they feel? Get with the program man. What gives me the right is the same thing that gave you the right. You are weirder.

I respond for myself.I don't write posts for other people. My opinions are just my opinions.Other people can have same opinions or no but I don't represent them and they don't represent me in any way

Well in that case, my post was meant for the general poster who I believe deep down in his heart of hearts must be somewhat bitter because it is only natural, as you yourself proved from only a few years ago.

None of those streaks compare to the stuff that matters (winning Rg CHECK and getting to 17 ???) nothing else will put him ahead of Fed anyway so what's the point

After Djokovic won Roland Garros, his gloating fans said he will eventually break many of Federer's records'. And, we all know they would have bombarded this board with Nole-The-GOAT threads had he won Wimbledon--becoming the only player in the Open Era to win 5 consecutive slams. Now, they're trying to act like little innocents.

Djokovic not winning Wimbledon has nothing at all to do with whether or not he will pass Federer in weeks at 1, YE 1's and YEC's. Nor does it really seriously hamper his slam count quest; everyone knew he had to lose at some point. If Federer wins Wimbledon, that would hamper the slam chase, but Murray is a sizeable favorite still.

And he'll also never win the channel slam.

And he'll also never win slams on clay, grass and hard-courts all in a calendar year, like Nadal did in 2010.

And no more slam-streak records or final streak records. Sucks to be Dj!

Yeah Djokovic's career is in ruins after this devastating loss that crushed all his hopes of breaking records. He has to make do with just two slams, including the one he has never won and the won that got him four in a row, and three Masters titles. All of that and probably counting as the HC season comes around. I seriously doubt Djokovic fans are absolutely devastated by this, that there is no joy in this terrible season for them anymore.

Djokovic didn't need this Wimbledon and his 2016 is still absolutely amazing. I think everybody, including fans of Djokovic or fans of the other players, realises that.

Fans who have some right to be bitter are Murray fans, who is stopped time and time again while having potential for more than two slams. The other "big four" members' fanbases have nothing to be bitter about considering their sick careers. Federer won 17 slams and 88 titles in total. As much as I want him to win another one, I've had moments plenty to rejoice. The same goes for Nadal/Djokovic fans.

Too lazy to look it up, what's Nole's QF tally?

I know Nole was at 6 current finals, dating back from 2015 AO (lost in semis 2014 USO to Kei)

Still plenty of time for Nole the GOAT. Don't you worry about that!;)

If you are a tennis fan in general, then you should not be bitter because Novak lost, but excited about how awesome it has been to see three different players contend for the title of Greatest Player of All Time over the last 13 years or so. Never has there been an era where it was so hard who exactly is the best of the three. Yes, Djokovic lost and that may be disappointing, but not because he lost all of these record chances or whatever, but because as a fan of any player you want to see them go deep every tournament they play. I'm a huge Federer fan and even though it may be a bit delusional at times, I hope to see him go extremely deep in every tournament still, but anything after he broke Sampras's record was icing on the cake. I hope Djokovic and Nadal fans can say the same.

First, McEnroeisamaniac had it in for Sampras, now he has it in for Djokovic. Expect lots of threads like this over the next two years.
