adding lead tape

I've added around 9 grams lead tape at 3 and 9 o'clock. That means 18 grams in total.
I didn't put any weight in the handle to counterweight.
My racket weighs around 290 grams unstrung with a balance point of 33.
How much weight should i place in the head to get the best result out of the racket.
Did i put too much weight in the racket??

Sounds like a bit too much if you ask me. I think 18 grams is a lot, but maybe I'm wrong. I'm customizing my Diablo MP. I want just a little more stability in the head as it's 10 points head light. How much lead tape and where for a 9 point HL?

I say use as much lead as you can handle. I put 8 grams on my PS 95 and couldn't handel the swingweight on serves, the rest of my game was so much better though. I found out in the end that 4 grams (split between 3 and 9 O'clock) was the right combination for me. Low swingweight for serving and great power and stablilty of groundstrokes and volleys.

same case as martin's. he has got similar racquet, and wanted to achieve even balance.
9g on 3&9 was starting point.

Keep in mind that 18g of lead on 3&9 adds about 30g of swingweight. And that is really serious amount.
