Adding Silicone in a Volkl handle?

Anyone ever tried this? I am thinking of putting some in my V1 Classic to make it more headlight, I do not like adding lead under the grip and have already replaced the grip with a shockshield, so silicone would be my best option if it works with the Volkl handle system.

Jack, volkl racket's have a shock absorption system built into the handle. You shouldn't try to put anything in the handle as it is already full of the stock stuff. You say you don't like leading under the grip but I use this technique on my volkls.

The V1 Classic has a hollow hairpin. All you have to do is remove the butt-cap.

hi Jack! Did you manage to open buttcap in your V1 Classic and put some silicone in the handle?
I added some Bluetac instead - I did not like the feeling (too damp) of the silicone I added to my DNX V1, so I wanted something reversible in the Classic. The Bluetac feel was not an improvement over stock imo (although not as damp as the silicone), and I ended up preferring the stock balance, too. Bluetac came out easily.

Did you take off that stuff which is on V1 Classic handle? Or your handle was really clean?
