Adidas Barricade Court Wide 2E is not wide enought for me at my usual size.

Adidas Barricade Court Wide 2E was on sale for $22.50 at the Adidas Outlet Store (Premium Outlet) so I bought it.

I have wide foot and have used the following shoes:

NB 656 9.5 Wide 4E -
Fit well. Roomy forefoot.

NB 806 10 Wide 4E
Fit well. Snug forefoot.

Asics GR5 10.5 Med -
Fit well. Initially felt pinching on my forefoot but disappeared after a few days. Snug forefoot.

Nike City Court 10.5 Med
Too narrow on the forefoot causing pain when playing tennis. Only use for walking.

Adidas Barricade Court Wide 2E fitting
9.5 - Too narrow
10 - Still too narrow
10.5 - A little better
11 - Best fit.

Lesson Learned
Always try on any shoes before buying.
If you cannot try, make sure you can return with full refund.

Have you tried comparing the Barricade 2E with regular Barricade? Is it truly wider? When shoes sell for that low a price, there might be a reason for it.

Also, what version of Barricade is it? If it's Barricade 6, 8 or 8+, expect a tight fit. It's not really because of the width of the sole but because the upper material is hard plastic with no give at all.

These are the Barricade Court shoes, NOT the Barricade premium shoes.

But maybe you are right. Maybe these Barricade Courts are NOT the 2E widths.
They were on sale without the shoebox, bundled up with a zip-tie.

I looked at the cardboard label and it said Adidas Barricade Court Wide 2E.
However, when I looked at the shoe tongue itself, there is no indication that it is Wide or 2E.

Since it was on sale, maybe there was a mis-labeling, which is very common
especially on sale items.

At any rate, I wore them today for tennis and they performed well
for my requirements.
