Have no fear, even though it is listed as a clay court sole, it is a great hard court sole and is very resistant to wear even on the grittiest of hard courts. I have been wearing the Adidas Y3 variant of this shoe on hard courts since last summer and have yet to see any noticable wear on the sole.
They are one of my favorite shoes I have worn. I went as far as buying a second pair of the Y3's (as Adidas did not have a production version of the shoe last year) that I have stashed away in the event my original pair wore out.Might have to give them a try. They look sharp.
cool, that works! thnx alot BrittanyThe shoes should be arriving today and we can get an exact weight. I did however, measure one of the playtester's shoes to give you a better idea. It is a size 10 and has been worn around 12 hours. It's current weight is approximately 13 ounces. I hope this helps until I can get the exact weight.
Thanks Brittany for getting back so quick, def buying this shoe. Also do you guys plan on doing a video review? Right now all i see is that interview video with the show designer....Faris,
I measured a size 10.5 from our stock and the weight was 13.2 ounces. I have updated the website to reflect this.
I just asked our resident wide-footed playtester, Jason, and he said he found it predominately wide in the toe box. Hannah, another playtester, was able to wear her custom insoles with the shoes with no issues.
@onthelinetennis,Does anyone know if these shoes are unisex? I’m not keen on the women’s Colorways.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks so much Michelle great advice@onthelinetennis,
While they aren't unisex, you definitely can size down a full size and a half in the men's version to find the correct size!
Just FYI, these shoes are a bit roomy, so if you have a wide foot -- great, you will enjoy them! But if you do have a more narrow foot, you might want to try a full 2 sizes smaller on the men's side as they found the shoes to run a bit wide (and men's shoes have a tendency to run wider than women's shoes).
Hope that helps and we do offer free returns on un worn footwear (try them on carpet and walk around but NOT on the court or outside), so if for some reason the sizing doesn't work out, you can return them and we can help you find the right shoes for you!
