He kinda reminds me of a turtle with that design on his back.
I wonder why he has a Kblade paintjob when he is supposed to be using the Kobra paintjob.
I didnt know that there are red CC Genius... Maybe for US Open or maybe earlier for Canada and Cincinnati.
i'm sure those pics were taken a while ago, before he switched. i mean, we're already looking at next year's nikes in another thread.I wonder why he has a Kblade paintjob when he is supposed to be using the Kobra paintjob.
i never said that nobody would be interested in it. and i agree with what you're saying. i guess now that i look back the comp line has been getting progressively more traditional since the emergence of the edge line. not that they just started a line like that. the YOC range was out for a couple of years before they turned it into the edge line. but even back then, the comp line had a little more flare. i realize that not everyone wants bright colors and crazy designs. i'm not saying that's what i want either. but if somone wants a plain white polo (or red, or black, or navy) what would make them pay an extra $10 or $15 for the comp line when they could get the response line? hell, the response polos are often at tj maxx and marshalls for $16! their better attention to styling for the high end stuff would draw more people to that line, i would imagine. don't get me wrong, i generally like adidas stuff. some of the $#!+ that nike's put out this year has been effing awful.See, the thing is, companies like adidas are in business to appeal to as many people as possible, because they sell more stuff that way. Crazy, eh? So they try to make lines that will reach different customers. The Competition line is a bit more conservative than the Edge line, so the designs reflect that (and there are always guys who want a plain white shirt). If you want more intriguing colorways and designs, you buy the Edge stuff. More basic, go Response or Competition (though they always have at least one fairly bold polo in the Comp line, and this season there's a pretty cool crew as well.) I can understand you thinking a plain white shirt is boring - I agree on a personal level, actually - but to fault adidas for offering that kind of shirt, or to suggest that no one would be interested in a plain white shirt, is just a bit foolish.
I thought that initially but check out Novak's racquet in the other picture. Didn't he switch to the white Head painscheme a while after Tsonga went to the Kobra paintscheme? Perhaps they took their pictures over time and maybe Novaks pictures are more recent.i'm sure those pics were taken a while ago, before he switched. i mean, we're already looking at next year's nikes in another thread.
When are these red genius going to come out ?
no, he's been using the white head all year. tsonga just recently switched to the kobra tour.I thought that initially but check out Novak's racquet in the other picture. I understand completely what you're getting at. But the Comp line has nicer, more breathable materials - the Response line isn't quite as high tech. And, of course, the Response line isn't worn by the pros - that's why they can put the three stripes all over those clothes, while they can't on the Comp or Edge lines because of the recent ruling (forced by the idiots at Nike) that three stripes on adidas clothing constitutes a logo, so they are now limited in terms of how big the stripes can be and where they're placed (they can't put them on shorts at all, which is why the Comp and Edge shorts are stripeless). So I'm sure some people want to wear the same shirt as Tsonga and will pay for the Comp shirt, while others just want a polo shirt and are happy with the Response line. I'd still like to see adidas get a bit bolder, but the Edge line (and some of the new Comp stuff) seems to be headed in that direction. As for colors, they do seem to be playing it fairly safe these days - I can only asume that's because people don't buy the more interesting colors. That's a shame.i never said that nobody would be interested in it. and i agree with what you're saying. i guess now that i look back the comp line has been getting progressively more traditional since the emergence of the edge line. not that they just started a line like that. the YOC range was out for a couple of years before they turned it into the edge line. but even back then, the comp line had a little more flare. i realize that not everyone wants bright colors and crazy designs. i'm not saying that's what i want either. but if somone wants a plain white polo (or red, or black, or navy) what would make them pay an extra $10 or $15 for the comp line when they could get the response line? hell, the response polos are often at tj maxx and marshalls for $16! their better attention to styling for the high end stuff would draw more people to that line, i would imagine. don't get me wrong, i generally like adidas stuff. some of the $#!+ that nike's put out this year has been effing awful.

they need to make colors that people will wear, but i guess red, blue, black and white gets a little redundant after awhile. you see the guys wearing the yellow shirts on tv and in pictures, it doesn't look that bad. i saw some of this year's comp polos in yellow at an adidas outlet. HOLY CRAP that thing is bright! no wonder it didn't sell well.I understand completely what you're getting at. Love this outfit!
Only in that I give them my money. Otherwise, no.Do you work for Adidas?
looks like he switching to the genius
How does the Djoko Summer crew compare to his V-neck FO one? (material wise)Just got the red/orange Djoko shirt and the khaki shorts from TW...sweet! The sorts are fantastic, very comfy, and the red color of the shirt is very deep and rich. Good stuff.
I'd imagine the vented stuff will still have that helix pattern that the other ones had, seems to be the norm with most adidas stuff at the moment (football shirts and the like). How does the Djoko Summer crew compare to his V-neck FO one? (material wise)
Why isn't the red/yellow on sale at TW? Can only find it on p w p.
It would be a real shame if that one didn't make it to this side of the pond. Why isn't the red/yellow on sale at TW?
There's a sketch of it on page 4 of this thread.I have not seen a gold white one.
Futures on p w p, for the US Open.I have not seen a gold white one.
Probably the same color that Verdasco has on his shirt and that isn't pure orange either. It´s orange not gold.
I don't have the FO shirt, so I don't know. But the mesh on the back is only in the pattern part - the darker wing graphic. The main material is comparable to the dark burgundy/lime green shirt from 2008, I'd say.How does the Djoko Summer crew compare to his V-neck FO one? (material wise)
I think it's navy/orange, not black.Why isn't the red/yellow on sale at TW? Can only find it on p w p.
There is a lot of different colors of the new Djokovic Edge.
Has already seen like seven different;
white/red
red/white
red/orange
red/yellow
orange/red
black/orange
gold/white
Yeah, TW have raised the Price on the Djoko Edge shirts. The french open one was $15 less.I don't have the FO shirt, so I don't know. there's another thread by marat saffin in this section on the upcoming adidas stuffDoes anyone know when TW will be updating its inventory of the Adidas Summer line next?
I dont really see anything worth buying right now on TW's limited inventory.
Oh it's been deleted for image copyright issues because they were from another online store. Sorry guys.there's another thread by marat saffin in this section on the upcoming adidas stuff

I think it's for the shanghai masters...Are those RED geniuses coming out???![]()
Really? As for colors, they do seem to be playing it fairly safe these days - I can only asume that's because people don't buy the more interesting colors. That's a shame.
The O2 is in London.I think it's for the shanghai masters...
Quite, the Edge stuff is far flashier.Really?
I always thought Nike played it safe nowadays with the Federer and Nadal lines regarding the colours.
And I personally find Adidas's stuff far more appealing and interesting compared to Nike.
If you find yourself down in a match, just tap your heels together three times and say, "There's no place like home".They're here!!!
