Adidas Special Edition Roland Garros Feathers

Here are photos of Adidas's Roland Garros special edition feathers as promised.

Tsonga will be wearing these.
Murray and, i think Verdasco as well, will be wearing Barricade 6's with a clay court sole (herringbone).

Murray and Verdasco are currently using their specially made Barricade 6's with the custom soul to make them exceptionally easy to break in. I will try and get some close up pics of the shoes.

Nice pics. But Murray and Verdasco are wearing the BV's. Murray was not happy with the 6's so went back with the old ones in Miami. And i doubt Verdasco will be wearing Barricade 6's when he's supposed to wear the yellow/ink blue Genius 2's which match the outfit for the french open.

Pics of their custom shoes? And Verdasco's wearing white BV's and supposed to wear Geniuses. I don't think Murray was wearing custom BVI's since there was no custom tongue like on Djokovic's and he didn't like them.

Sorry, yea you're right about Verdasco. Murray should be wearing his new ones though, but you may well be right that he doesnt like them yet because his new 6's are basically a brand new custom shoe just for Andy. The moaning Scotsman....

I'm pretty sure these are retail models. When I saw them in person, I didn't check for that roland garros logo, but it most likely was there.

any intense orange will look like red imo. then again, i'm somewhat colorblind, so i might not be the best to trust for this.

The shoes are the standard retail model. And they are the limited edition ones, but as far as i'm aware they have only just come into some stores.

Anyone know if the fit is similar to barricades?

No where near. It's a weird fit, not as narrow as the Genius, not as wide as the BV. I was close to getting them when they first came out but the shoe ain't worth $100 when you can get the BV for $10 more. I just picked up the white colorway for $50. The material the upper is made out of is a nylon feeling material. Not sure how they'll wear. My reference is the Feather II's which I loved. compared to the II and III they seem like the foot sits up higher in the shoe.
