Adidas to Nike Conversion

Hey everybody,

So I've always been an Adidas guy because of my wider feet. However, I got a pair of some of the more recent Murray Barricades and I honestly have to say I don't like them. I assume they're about the same as regular Barricades, so I'm thinking about making the switch to Nike.

The reason I say so is that I have a pair of Nike Vomero running shoes that I absolutely love.

The size is just right, and I was wondering if anyone knows of Nike tennis shoes that have a similar fit to these Vomeros. I've tried the Ballistic Nadal shoes in the past, and the shoe width was way to narrow for me. They actually hurt. I got a larger size and there was way too much toe.

I hope someone can help me with my shoe dilemma in finding a Nike tennis shoe wide enough for me. Please post if you have any comment!

I made the switch as well for the exact same reason. I've been playing with Zoom Breathe 2k11 and love them. Also Vapor Club is pretty wide as well. Both are more comfortable than the Barricades for me.

Surprised you were an adidas guy with wide feet. I've always been an adidas fan because I think they suit my narrow foot better.

I've got wider feet and really like the Babolat Propulse 3. The Nike Vapor 9's fit a wider foot but don't have the 6 month guarantee

yeah, adidas have always seemed to me to run narrow (and i have wide feet). the only exception being the trail shoe that i am currently wearing (vigor tr2) which fit so nicely, i bought four pair. but i guess that shows you might find what you need within any reputable brand. fit can vary so much.
