is this Uber 4 Felix is wearing ?

No. Interestingly with Felix, I saw him play a few days ago in Uber 4s the Tokyo version. And I thought ‘finally someone other than Zverev’. But then in his last match he was back wearing his SoleCourt Boost from the Australian Open. It’s seems he didn’t like the U4s either…

Just got some of the black ubersonic 4s with white soles. Previously using the Nike Vapor X and before that the Nike Airmax Wildcard HC.
I really like the way these 4s look, the heel-hold, and the fact that they don't run big at all. I have a narrow size 9 foot and these are nice and snug all the way along.
However, they are very snug around the toes, whereas the Vapor X is incredibly snug around the heel ankle and first half of the foot, but with loads of room around the toes.
To be honest, these fit and feel almost exactly like the Nike Airmax Wildcards (nike budget shoe for half the price). The only difference is much better sole tread on these 4s.
I prefer the aesthetic of the 4s but the fit of the X.

Just played my first match in these. Really liked the on court experience. Low to the ground feel, very responsive. love how the shoes flex. But, i did experience some foot pain after. I'm pretty sure this is due to letting my feet flex and move more so im using feet muscles i dont normally use. My main shoe is GR8. I want to make the formal switch. I wonder if this pain will go away when my feet get used to this and strengthen...? or am i trying to talk myself into it? anyone had this experience?

I experienced some pain after the first sessions. Was not exactly pain, more like some muscles in the foot arch were not used to work out. Before the U4 I had court FF2. I guess your feet need to adapt to the new cushioning and the new shoe support.
Will eventually go away after some times. No worries.

If court ff works with your feet you don’t change that shoe :)

Played two more times with the Ubersonic 4 and no more soreness. Feet have adjusted and I am absolutely loving the Ubersonic 4 shoes. Maybe my favorite on court shoe ive had in the past 5 years. When i initially tried them on, they didnt feel great but my advice is to break them in a little bit. Thanks for the feedback!!

Not good. Laces uncomfortable, cut in on foot. There is no rubber toe-cap, so the durability for anyone who drags is terrible. I've worn for a month, and they are almost completely worn through the front. Never again.

I'm finding that, at the level of the last lace (where I tie them together in a knot) it's really cutting in to the top of my foot/end of my leg but only on my left foot.
Otherwise the shoe is good.
Poor durability of the sole though. I've gone all the way through the tip of the sole on the right foot, but the rest of the soles are OK.

How often are you guys playing? And what surfaces? I've had mine for about 6 months and play once or twice a week on indoor acrylic surfaces and they're still in great condition.

Just tore a hole in the front of Ubersonic 4 in ONE MONTH!!!! Yes, ONE MONTH!!! I got 8 months out of KSwiss Ultracourts which were my last pair. Going to write Adidas and demand some compensation/replacements. This is crazy, rest of the shoe is in great shape, but the toe cap is non-existent.

Worldwide supply chain issue. Same problem here in UAE. I wanted to order from Europe as my parents are visiting end Feb. Same, nothing in stock.

Not impressed with the soles on these shoes. I've worn the right shoe all the way through to the liners in the toe area. Never done this on shoes before. My Vapor X get really smooth, but they don't wear all the way through.

Been struggling to find shoes in my size in stock so ran across a pair of Uber's clay court version (the last pair in my size) so I grabbed them. Played 40+ hours on clay and must say loving these shoes, very comfy, clay doesn't get inside your shoes based on sock fit and is very light around the court. Seems to hold up decently on hard courts as well for the occasional change of surface.

yea outsole isn't designed for durability. it is performance shoes all the way

Supply chain issues. nothing got made for Q1. Adidas and Asics

Yes i agree. it is my favorite clay court shoe at the moment. I'll be testing out the diadora blueshield fly 3 clay soon and i have high hopes for those as well. It looks like it is going to be a few months before the new uber 4 colors are released. frustrating.

Yes I usually been Diadora but had to make switch to Ubers. Slim pickings when you want clay court shoes even slimmer when everyone has shortages.

What shoes do u recommend in lieu of Ubersonic? My son is a D1 MM player who needs replacement shoe. None in stock for 6 weeks in his size. Has hole in shoe. Has to play in wide club level shoe with ankle brace until he can find performance shoe in his size. Since adidas NA open to other high performance brands that are durable too-wears out soles and toe

Seems like the UB4's aren't very popular but I'm looking at getting a clay specific shoe. I get a sweet discount with Adidas and in the US they currently has the Magic Grey / Cloud White / Core Black colorway in stock and I love that color combo, especially since I want all black.

Do y'all recommend these or is there a better alternative?

**Currently using Asics Court FF 2 Novak's for hard court

I have the UB4's. I just bought the Wilson Rush Pro 3.5s, which are uber comfortable so far. The UB3s were perfect for me.

I liked the UB4 - didn't loved them.

I have the UB4 clay shoes.

Pros: amazingly great traction on the clay. comfortable and stable.

Cons: uppers started tearing right at the crease near the top front where my toes bend very early on. This is not any kind of sliding wear; it’s just from the shoe bending and that seems very sub-par. They are still playable but hard to say how long they will last. It’s a shame because being clay shoes otherwise they should last a long time. There is zero visible wear on the soles at all and they still have perfect traction. I’m also calling the lacing system a con in the sense that the stock laces that came with the shoe were super thin and slippery and came untied easily so I went to replace them and that took forever because the lacing holes in these shoes are tiny, tiny stiff little tube things that you can barely get a normal lace through.

Cons notwithstanding, the stability and amazing traction on the clay make these among the best tennis shoes I've ever bought.

Wish there was. These look great.

hey all you Uber4 users out there, you all saw what happened to Zeverev today,, is this concerning ? I too felt like i felt bit uneasy in my ankle area when running out for wide balls... I never actually turned my ankle on this shoe but i did have that concern

I'm on court 400 hours a day with these shoes (professional coach with a D1 school) and haven't rolled my ankle. I think the problem is more with Zverevs chicken legs not the shoe. Also the taller guys always get injured...long levers and high center of gravity.
