Admit it...Nole is not as dominant and consistent as Federer

You really believe that Stan, Monfils, Isner, Berdych and Ferrer played better 8 years ago than today?
Berdych and Ferrer did play better back then. (Berdych actually pushed prime Federer to 5 in AO 2009. Federer played an amazing tournament, much better than any year after that.) Monfils and Isner aren't a factor now and weren't back in the day, so...
Wawrinka is the only one playing better.

Oh I think Ferrer and Berdych are on par with the past, just not as smart! You would think they'd expand their repertoire of simple ball bashing and add on more net attacks! Hanging at the baseline hasn't done anything for them except sustained mediocrity! ;-)

One great match by Berdych in 2009 makes him better player? Don't think so.

And what exactly makes him a better player now?? He hasn't won anything and hasn't beaten any of the big 4 players in ages (apart from Nadal last AO, who barely got past Smyczek).

Federer reached 23 consecutive slam semifinals(Nole 14)
Federer reached 10 consecutive slam finals(Nole 5)
Federer reached 18 out of 19 slam finals(Nole 7 out of 8)
Federer holds 237 consecutive weeks at #1(Nole 83)
Federer won 3 slams/year 3 times(Nole 2)
Federer reached all 4 slam finals/year 3 times(Nole 1)
Federer has 3 seasons with at least 90% win/loss record(Nole 2)
Admit it, you don't have a life.

Berdych is much more consistent in recent years, but his peak level of play is lower and no longer capable of beating the top guys. Take your pick I guess. I mean more the 2011-2014 period vs the 2007-2010 period when I say that. Since the 2015 Australian Open he is probably lower than that whole 8 year period and is still entrenched in the top 8 which is a bit pathetic.
