G'day all,

Have been stringing for about 15 years and have only used pacific stringing machines at work. Am looking at purchasing one for a small business which I intend on starting soon and am looking at options. Not familiar with current pacific machines and would be interested in opinions as I couldn't find too much info about them with a search??

Have seen quite a few machines but prefer to use the mounting points that fix the racquet from the top rather than from the side. Am interested in a modestly priced machine, but of reasonable quality and would welcome other opinions...

Thanks in advance.

The rumor is that Pacific is going to be coming out with a new stringing machine -- I'm guessing it will be called the Digital DX3 -- at a price point of around 3,000 USD. Supposedly, it will start shipping in September/October. I can't verify any of the details I've heard about it, but if you like Pacific machines, this will probably be the least expensive professional machine it offers.

Thanks mate, madn't realised that they were so pricey, but guess you get what you pay for. Does anyone know any other machine that where that fixes the racquet from the top (screw down) rather than the side?? They all seem to fi from the side, but just seems to me that it is not as secure and may block access???

cheers
