AERO Pro drive 2013 Team and Lite rackets

I'm sure that the intended specs show greater divergence, but Babolat seems to have a very uncertain grasp of what comes out of the factory.

Eric even forgot to put the team model on his website, but the lite model is 275 grams unstrung with 320mm balance.

In fact, I wonder whether what is called the lite on the website did not in fact become the team as the specs match.

The lite model should be around 260 grams and 330 balance.

Not so sure. According to TW website, the Lite model is actually 2 points Head heavy which is bit odd. In previous Lite models, they were all head light still ?

Did some playtesting of the 2013 Babolat Team and Lite on Xmas - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65Vwyt0XOc4&list=PL_ykZkME7s_Qr8XU3hr6X0ixHaYSZGeP-&index=1

I actually liked that the AP Team's swing weight is 293 vs the AP Drive swing weight of 316...it is about an ounce lighter too. I have a full write-up and review of both rackets.

All the 2013 Babolat AP's are 100 sq inches but with slightly different weights and balance, which I think suits a wide range of player types.

Happy New Year everyone!

Hey Nostradamus, I hit with both (using same string setup - Dunlop Syn Gut)...my write up is on "tennis bargains" (just google it...not sure if I'm allowed to post the url here?)

Definitely felt like Lite was a bit HH, and Team was a tad HL.

Lite seems to be geared toward older seniors or young junior players who are just starting out. Some people 3.5-4.0 might actually like AP Team more than the APD because it has the lowest SW out of all of them.. My setup would be APT with a little bit of lead customization.

Do you guys want me to do another "unwrapping video"? Pics here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/demiace/sets/72157632371498422/
