Aeropro Control

yes. different animal altogether . flatter beam, less forgiving and stiff. however far more solid, stable and powerful when you lay into the ball. spin is a little less but good nonetheless . flat shots are easier to control and backhand slice is absolutely nasty with it. great with weisscannon matchpower.

to be honest, this is one of the babolat that I like. I sold one... kinda regretted it and took me some time find another one.

nice blend of control and power. can hit spin (nice racket head speed maybe with how the weight is distributed or maybe the aero module works) and also flatten out my shots easily. feel is subjective but, yeah can be improved too. but no pain in my arms at all... played with multis, polys and also my usual gut hybrid.
one thing I hated was the sound of the balls leaving the string bed. so I strictly play with a dampener

This is a great frame. I wonder why it wasn't so popular, like the APD. I think the only thing that APD has over APC is power. The spin potential is similar. Much better control, Only major difference is the weight and the beam width.
The only thing I don't like is the feel. I wish it was foam filled like the Pure Strike Tour. It does feel somewhat hollow. I didn't notice too much of its stiffness.
I've always wanted an APD with more control. I think this may be it. Great frame.

I'm playing with this now regularly. It's a fantastic frame. I was able to find two good used ones. Finding bumper and grommets hasn't been easy.

Update - I have an Aeropro Control and and Aeropro Control Plus and I found NOS new grommets and bumper ! This frame is unbelievable. There were far fewer made than the Aeropro Drive at the time.

Where did you find the grommets? My APD head bumper is cracked and could use a lead on a new grommet set.
