Has anyone compared AeroPro Drive Cortex Plus vs. Pure Drive Roddick Cortex Plus? I assume, the Roddick has more power. But, with a little bit of lead tape, the AeroPro Drive will get up there. I am also guessing the Roddick has larger sweet spot than the AeroPro.

I already play with the Roddick Cortex Plus now. I also used to use the less powerful standard-size Roddick Cortex... once you go to 27.5", you don't feel like going back to 27"!, But just out of curiousity, I'm interested to find out from people who have had the chance to compare the Roddick Cortex Plus and the AeroPro Cortex Plus.

I have owned both, the apdc gives me tremendous amounts of forearm pain, while the pdrw/c + does not, so that makes the decision easy for me between the two. But that does not answer your question. Well the pdr is way better serving it is insanely powerful. All versions of the apd apdc and aero storm all seem to be a touch on the weaker serve- not by alot, but you can kind of tell and the people I play tell me the same thing. As for groundstrokes I personally thing the apd apdc and aero storm are insanely powerful and you can generate some insane spin if you have the proper windshield wiper form. The pdr is good but I find I hit a little flatter, I think the aerodynamic throat helps in whipping the raquet around on the topspin, it is not major, but it is slightly noticeable. As for volleys I think the pdr is way better, I am not a fan of the aero pro series at volleying, and my overheads are good, but I feel like I lack that super poerful wrist snap on overheads to really put the ball out of play. Just my thoughts :) give them both a try, but if you like heavier racquets and favor serving and volleying the consensus of people I talk to seem to favor the pdr. If you are more of an all courter and favor sitting back at the baseline then the aero series is probably more up your alley- but try them both!:)
