Strongest era for the rest of the field.
Federer can load up his excuses age, back, mono and match-ups.

Oh so now it is a strong era for the rest of the filed but when Fed and Nadal were dominationg during 2004-2007 it was a weak one....

Gotta love the double standards

Yes...If you have top 10 all timers as current top 10 or if you have all time mugs as top 10, slams would be split. That doesnt mean the field is of the same quality.

add in RG, USO and WTF, and only AO and W are missing from their grasp.

Wow, so if Rafa beats Djokovic in the final on sunday and wins MC, which is certainly possible, he will be the holder of 6 masters titles. That has to be a record!

Strong era

You must be being sarcastic here, right?

Other players should really step it up. With Federer and Murray out with their problems last year, there were no challenge left for these two guys. Wilander may come out and accuse the current era as being weak soon.

Anyway, an amazing stat nonetheless.

Djokovic and Nadal are the two best players in the world at the moment.
Yes, a simple and obvious truth!

Fans of a certain player whose name shall not be mentioned will have to raise their denial level even more:

Are Nadal and Djokovic currently the best two tennis players in the world?

Perhaps we need in addition to the Masters a yearly official Shankers 1000™ tournament.

Of course he's being sarcastic. As a die-hard Federer fan he's trying to use sarcasm to make Nadal's era look bad and Federer's era good in comparison.

Oh, well, duh. That's like saying if Djokovic wins Miami, he would hold 5. What's your point? Sounds moot.

6 is more than 5 and could possibly be a record.....

Nadal beating Djokovic and winning his favorite masters tournament are feasible things.

Thank you for being so pleasant.

When tournaments are being gifted like this with all kinds of walk over, we are indeed in the strongest era for sure.:)

hahahaha well played. But I guess that's why we have ATP 500/250 and challenger tour. It also amuses me that the Challenger tour has a Tour Finals to find out the best of the best challenger players.

This is a perfect example for how much tennis as a sport growt in the past 15 years around Federer, Novak and Rafa. You have Challenger finals, you have almost double amount prize money, you have Multimilions Expos and now you have that weird tournament that they created in November. I am not sure for how long we have the Legends tour but it probably expanded a lot in the past years.

OMFG are you serious? That made me laugh so hard my wife thought something was wrong.
That is actually embarrassing, probably the guys that are floating outside the top what 200 in their late 20's to mid 30's? Who plays this? I shouldn't want to know but its so bad I have too...

Hahahaha, I'm serious...

"The ATP Challenger Tour Finals is a tennis tournament played at the end of each year, involving the top seven players in that year's ATP Challenger Tour, plus an invited player from the tournament's host country."

Does that mean those guys are so good? Or it has to do with surfaces homogenization and lack of young talent? Or maybe a mixture of several things.

What kind of top 10 all timers are you talking about who are so much better than the top 10 in, say, 2004 or 2005?
