I love that Tim’s using the exact same Slazenger he used when he retired in 2007 lol.
He is no longer using Babolat Fiber Tour. Now he is using synthetic gut.I watched the Gentlemen's Invitational doubles at Wimbledon this year and was tickled to see Xavier Malisse play. He's still playing the Prince Diablo he used on tour and from all appearances was still using a multifilament. As a friend of mine says, "it ain't the arrow it's the archer".
I liked Malisse's game quite a bit. Too bad he had the health (heart?) issues. He is no longer using Babolat Fiber Tour. Now he is using synthetic gut.![]()
Even better! He is no longer using Babolat Fiber Tour. Now he is using synthetic gut.![]()

I enjoyed watching Edberg serve and volley on the clay. That was really fun to see a guy be successful S&V on the dirt.Agassi v Edberg, and later, Agassi v Rafter, were some of the most enjoyable matches to watch in the 90s.
andre is dying to be relevant in my worthless opinion. and LC was a prime example. he made a push to be back on the scene a few yrs ago and this is the culmination, center stage. who’s really coaching these guys? they pick the match up, then its up to the players. maybe a mid match tip “hit to his forehand, be aggressive” but its a glorified job.One one hand Yannick Noah under-coached, phoned it in & Agassi over-coached, gesticulating like a traffic ccp on speed.
I liked Rafter's approach, somewhere in between.
Yep, also way bitd at the FO with Noah beating Wilander & Stich & JMac making finals.I enjoyed watching Edberg serve and volley on the clay. That was really fun to see a guy be successful S&V on the dirt.
