Agassi playing with Yonex Percept

I am a longtime radical user. I hit with one of those Yonex rackets a couple months ago. Not one darn person noticed! It’s just not right man.
Oh, I know it!!!!! I was on the court using something other than my usual CX200T and had to practically yell at the top of my lungs, "Hellllooooooo!!!! Not using my usual racquet here!!!!" Some guy just stared at me so I took one CX200T from my bag, autographed it, handed it to him and walked off. Star struck into silence. I wasn't surprised.

A couple of weeks later I saw him again and asked him what he did with it. He said he traded it for a band. "Nice! A thousand bucks!", I said but you probably could have gotten two. He then said, "No, rubber....needed a dampener because mine fell off." Why do I care about his dampener and what did that have to do with anything? What a weirdo.

In addition to Murray, they both started using Yonex. This is great. However some may speculate this is a pt100.42d with a Yonex pj. Waiting for our insiders to shed some light.

The way tennis equipment is evolving Head’s Extreme & ironically Speed line ups will be their best bets to compete with Yonex & Babolat. Prestige may hang around for us old timers to hit up with & remember what the game used to be like before poly.

I’d wager the boom will probably be more popular, with the speed being their best seller. The extreme tour is everywhere in higher level circles it’s like the modern radical. Wilson has got the blades and just maybe the clash if they can endorse it correctly. Having used all those rackets I still think the extreme tour and ezone 98 are the best frames you can get, maybe include the pure aero 98 but it’s harsh on the arm even with the lower RA.

The percept is not for radical users. It plays closer to a pro staff. The 18x20 feels fantastic but nothing like a radical.
