2022 - Nadal def Meddy B, Nadal def Ruud, Djokovic def Kyrgios

Exactly, what’s nuts here is that across all of these 3, Nadal (the 2019 champion) was either injured or didn’t even play, and Djokovic got himself banned twice, and the one time he didn’t he was gassed
None of the GS wins by the young ones have really left an impact. They haven't changed the status quo or signaled the changing of the guard. They're just.....there.

Meddy was the closest. There is probably another universe out there where he didn’t melt down vs Nadal and tank his 2022 season, then with his confidence intact, went on to beat Djoker in Astana or the WTFs (as he absolutely could have, even in his regressed state) to re-establish some mild superiority. Unfortunately it wasn’t this one lol

In that other universe Djokovic probably doesn't get deported and completely invalidates Med's USO win over him.

This is just ridiculous, they were not that superior when they were at their prime 10 years ago against their own generation!

Djokovic is the youngest of the Big 3 and on top of that a late bloomer. He'd always have the biggest chance to vulture titles at the end of his career.

And the vulturing has only begun...
It is on since last 4 years but we can't blame him cos the Next Gen are so pathetic mentally and physically.

The "no-Djockodal" Grand Slams since 2010:

2010: Federer AO
2012: Federer WIM, Murray UO
2013: Murray WIM
2014: Wawrika AO, Cilic UO
2015: Wawrinka RG
2016: Murray WIM, Wawrinka UO
2017: Federer AO, Federer WIM
2018: Federer AO
2020: Thiem UO
2021: Medveded UO
2022: Alcaraz UO

And not because the younger guys have taken over.
Djokovic doesn’t get disqualified in 2020 and he wins the whole thing. No way he loses against any of those two mugs in the final who put up the worst performance I have ever witnessed in a slam final. If not for Djokovic, had Nadal played i would also have favoured him over both Zverev and Thiem. 2021, Djokovic not faltering to the pressure of the potential CYGS should at least have a 60/40 chance, and 2022, Djokovic being allowed to play and/or Nadal not being exhausted will also stop Alcaraz. So under normal circumstances, it would be likely 18/19 or even 19/19. Reinforces how utterly useless the next generation is.

2020, #lineswomangate
2021, the one case in recent memory where Djoko buckled under pressure
2022, Djoko chose not to compete/comply

Exactly, under normal circumstances it would be 20 out of the last 20 instead of 17/20.

*We don't know if a healthy Nadal would have made it to the final of the US Open 2021 against Djokovick, instead of Medveded, so leave it at 19/20.

That Med was legit good, not picking Rafa over him. Rafa being healthy is a very very rare sight
