air mac attack returns?

They are plenty comfortable for casual wear. They do run narrow though and I went up a half size.

I may put in one of my orthotics and play a causal tennis match in them for fun one day.
Thanks for the info. I guess if McEnroe played in them, they can't be too bad for tennis.

Reviews from people who bought them say they aren't comfortable. Maybe some here will report.

I’m a size 12 in every Nike shoe I’ve tried. For comparison, I own the 2022 version of the Air Trainer 1, which fits my foot perfectly. Very similar to the ATC2 retros.

The Mac Attack is quite a bit narrower than the AT1. Borderline uncomfortable in the midfoot. The length is fine, but the width is the problem. I went back to my local shop and tried on a 13. It’s closer to comfy for width, but still not great. Also too long. If they made a 12.5, I suspect it would still be too narrow for me.

I have a medium width foot.

I tried to get a pair on the 23rd and at 10am when I logged on everything was sold out. It was amazing how many bits were programmed to buy these up and resell them at astronomical prices. Why only lifestyle retailers were allowed to sell them and tennis retailers didn’t get the chance is another thing I don’t like about Nike as a company.

If the Attacks had the same width throughout as the AT1, I’d have every colorway. They’re just too narrow for me, sadly.

Look, I can’t argue, the colours are great - but unfortunately they got the silhouette horribly wrong & we’re still talkin’ lipstick on a pig here.

(You put lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pig.)
Agreed, this has never been a good looking shoe, not even back in the day. Still, look how popular another ugly shoe is, the new balance 550. Nike is going after that market.

Where's the hate, they seem pretty close to the original?

Just bought a pair of the red crush accidentally on purpose. Very stylish, I'll post a pic.
I also intend to play in them at least once

Look slightly like Air Jordan 1 lows.

I like the mesh upper. If they made Air Jordan 1 lows with a mesh upper, I'd use them for tennis

Uppers are soft, nice to wear casually.
Haven't been on court yet, didn't really want to use them for a serious match. I'll wait until I go out with one of my buddies
