Love this idea. Keep the same bottom, use the Vapor last and same textile/no sew combination they have on their pro level shoes.

got this version a few years back - i felt quite different to the ones they first released years and years ago. maybe we got used to the new materials/cushion in the recent years.
it felt more comfortable after adding aftermarket insole.

I’ve read elsewhere that they fit TTS. I didn’t hesitate today when I saw the restock. I was pretty pissed when I didn’t hit on the first drop. On SNKRS or any Euro sites.

Sidebar: I know it’s a pipe dream, but tennis fanatics should get early access to these Mac and Agassi retros lol. I’m worried that I won’t be able to get the Mac Attacks in 2023.

The original cross trainer - the Nike Air Trainer 1 in green and black. Did anyone use them for tennis in the old days? They are available again in a re-issue (though Nike itself sold out and it's all through secondary markets). I wore them to play some tennis and they are super comfortable and felt great. The sole seems like it would wear out fast though so just curious if others ever wore them for day to day playing.

I did. One of the most iconic shoes from Nike.

There’s pics on the internet where they made custom herringbone soles for Johnny Mac.. but never released to the public. Think I saw Wimbledon soles as well.

True to size for me. I’m a 12 with a foot that is somewhere between normal width and wide. These fit me really well with surprising room in the sides. I don’t feel cramped at all.
