So thoughts after nearly 2 hours of singles.
You can play in these, with some caveats.
First off, these shoes are not as heavy as you would think. 431g and 441g, yes amazing the left and right had a 10g difference. Which is 15.56oz, or the same as the brand-new Vapor 11.

To start, you feel very locked in, almost a little too tight for me around the ankles, but good support for sure. They feel a little like ice skates around the ankles.
The shoes started out stiff but did soften up some. A big part of the stiffness is in the outsole itself versus the upper. The outsole is pretty stiff or firm feeling.
The outsole was also clearly not designed for performance because the rubber is kind of hard and the tread is not very deep.
I actually didn't have any traction issues, but more durability wise, they probably wouldn't last long.
Additionally, the shoes are relatively firm and you'd want some orthotics or padded socks to get more comfort.
The shoes are warm. Most of the ventilation is more aesthetic.
The outsole is completely flat and you really feel it. They sort of make you feel flat footed all the time. While I'm not a fan of ones that make you rock forward (SSFF2) this was too flat feeling.

My feet, legs, knees, etc. don't feel any more sore than my normal hard court shoes.
The only issue I had was I semi-rolled my ankle due to the lateral flange area. I accept most responsibility for this, but the shoes do feel a little bulky to me and this may have contributed to the slow/sloppy footwork that caused me to trip.

Overall, I won't use them alot. Definitely more comfortable and forgiving shoes available. It was fun and I may use them for pickleball just to troll people. (A troll in my own mind, I'm sure no one else will notice or care)
Fit was true to size and despite the bulky look, these really aren't wide.

So what is the outsole durability and toebox width like in these?
just farting around w jeans...no sure about durability...but toebox width is good for my wide and flat feet. I personally don't plan on playing in these shoes but hey...it could happen
