Alcaraz has been on a gluten free diet for the last year

Djoker wisely stayed out of the Olympic Village and stayed in a comfortable luxury hotel and focused on his quest for Gold.
Am certain that Alcaraz regrets going for the "Olympic Experience".
Lousy food. No A/C. Cardboard box beds.
When Green Ideology meets reality.

I read that Carlos tested himself by putting a loaf of bread on his stomach and he immediately started sweating and cramping, then he removed the loaf of bread and suddenly the symptoms disappeared. That’s how he realised that his athletic performance improves without gluten.

Sugar in and of itself especially from fruits isn't really bad. Sure people with impaired metabolism should refrain but otherwise shouldn't take it off their diet.
Big difference between eating sugar in fruit which is limited by how much you can consume vs juice which makes it easy to ingest vast amounts of sugar.

Oh yes absolutely but the point was more about sugar not being the devil if you have metabolic health and not overindulging

Apparently diabetic people have been advised to ease up on fruit because of the sugar content. It always seems to be a case of 'damned if you do, damned if you don't" when looking for the healthy options!

does it matter. He is just ridiculously good, but big 3 at their best were even better.
Big 3 are in the league of their own
Alcaraz continues to make more unforced errors than he should due to his impatience in building points and waiting for the right moment for the winning shot.

Omg no beer, cereal, malt liquor and potato chips! What a Downer.........................................But Debbie's Hot!

Anyone with tons of money will do it, it is not about being wise.
Rafa and Alcaraz are wealthy. Chose to stay in the "Eco-friendly" Olympic Village for the Olympic Experience.
Worm-infested food, cardboard beds, no A/C.
Green Ideology meets reality.

Rafa and Alcarez are humble people.

But what if he's not gluten intolerant and gluten is actually good for him?

Everyone is different, and should eat food that suit their own condition. They should not just copy what other people eat.

Are there risks to trying a gluten-free diet if you don’t have celiac disease?

If you cut all gluten out of your diet, there’s a risk that you could miss out on nutritious whole grains, fiber and micronutrients. Getting enough whole grains in your diet is especially important if you’re at risk for heart disease or diabetes. Whole grains can lower cholesterol levels and even help regulate your blood sugar. In addition, some gluten-containing foods are sources of important vitamins and minerals, such as B vitamins, iron and magnesium.

sadly there actually is a connection. skin diseases are a long and very deep topic not suited for this forum.
I've worked for dermatologists and holistic doctors since 2008. learned many things and saw many things I didn't want to see.
- If you type into that growing advertising search engine... "gluten and acne" you will find there's many studies and connections.

Many dermatologists offer laser services to treat acne. Have seen many take these costly laser treatments and there was little to no difference.
What a scam!

They need to heal and fortify from within first than start on the outside and continue with the same diet. Not always easy since people have unique variations and results unlike any other species.

What logic? The fact that Fed defeated him when he played him? Fed did well, as he is a strong player.

Now if we compare who moved better at that age, that's another story. Who moved better?
If movement was the be all end all, then Djokovic wouldn’t have gotten clapped at the slams this year
